Biden Impeachment Inquiry Hearings Get Underway
And here we go. The first public hearing was held Thursday in the Biden Impeachment Inquiry.
βWeβre probing an influence-peddling scheme,β House Judicial Committee Chairman Jim Jordan declared.
On Wednesday evening, House Republicans dropped a 700-page dossier of the evidence collected thus far against Biden Inc. about the globe-spanning schemes β and, for that matter, efforts by the DOJ to thwart its discovery. While not as concrete as bank records and payments laundered through shell companies and onto assorted family members, or the statements of witnesses and business associates, one interesting tidbit summarizes the whole enterprise. In a message found on Hunterβs iCloud account, Biden describes his access to Joe as βthe keysβ to βmy familyβs only asset.β
The question has always been, βWhat was the business? What service or goods were Hunter (and James) Biden providing foreign entities that was worth all those tens of millions of dollars?β ($24 million and counting, says House Oversight Chairman James Comer. Others put the figure north of $50 million.)
Hunterβs telling you. It isnβt fancy properties or helpful products. It isnβt expertise. All theyβve got is access to Joe Biden and the power he can wield for their clients. McDonalds sells the Big Mac. Hunter sells the Big Guy.
The trick was giving plausible deniability to Joe. Said Hunter in one text to his uncle James: βYouβve been drawn into something purely for the purpose of protecting Dad.β

But thereβs no βsmoking gun,β says Democrat Jamie Raskin, showing Joe Biden personally benefited from the schemes of his son.
“The majority sits completely empty-handed with no evidence of any presidential wrongdoing. No smoking gun. No gun, no smoke.”
Constitutional scholar and witness Jonathan Turley shot that down, citing previous court rulings: βMoney going to family members is, indeed, a benefit.β Added Turley, “This idea that you can have millions going to a politician’s family, and that’s NOT a benefit, I think is pretty fallacious.”
Unsightly Business
In a rather appalling display, Democratic congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi tried to tarnish the esteemed (Democrat) scholar for once βdefending a pedophile.β On one hand itβs factually peculiar because Turley is a constitutional lawyer, not a criminal defense lawyer. Second, it reeked of desperation. Whatβs it have to do with the inquiry? Third, itβs bizarre. Youβre going to accuse a guy of defending a pedophile to protect a guy who sniffs little girls and showered with his young daughter?
Deal with the issue at hand, congressman, or yield your time to someone who will.
Democrats and the White House also harped that the hearings are taking place as a government shutdown is looming. They even had a little countdown clock.

And where was the media that went wall-to-wall with the 2019 Trump impeachment inquiry? CNN, MSNBC and the Big 3 networks refused to carry the hearing. A few weeks back, Ian Sams from the White House Counsel office demanded media outlets βramp up scrutiny of House Republicans for an impeachment inquiry based on lies.β The message was clear. Run interference for the Big Guy.
Donβt know why Biden needs that German shepherd Commander when heβs got all these puppy dogs whoβll only bite those that pose a threat to the president.
U.S. Trying to Deport German Family That Had Been Persecuted for Home Schooling Their Kids
The Romeike Family has been in the U.S. for 15 years, having come here after German officials tried to take away their kids for homeschooling them. Years ago they were granted infinite deferred action. Yet suddenly, the Romeikes were told to bring their passports to the next meeting with ICE and prepare to self-deport. In other words, βget out.β Where the order originated, the family doesnβt know. But it stems from the same administration that is allowing millions of illegal immigrates to cross our border and make themselves at home.
This week, our Nancy Flory was able to talk to Uwe Romeike, the father of seven, and the Romeikeβs lawyer. She tells the full story and shares how you can help.

Senate Unanimously Declares War Against Hoodies. Formalizes Dress Code
After a week of mocking and rebellion within his own ranks, Sen. Chuck Schumerβs ditching of the Senate dress code to appease Sen. John Fetterman went up in flames Wednesday night. The Senate voted by unanimous resolution to restore its dress code. So, bye-bye hoodies and shorts for Fetterman. The resolution requires that “business attire be worn on the floor of the Senate, which for men shall include a coat, tie, and slacks or other long pants.β
Perhaps the Senate should consider βCasual Fridays.β Or go the other way and bring back powdered wigs!
