A Year After the Planned Parenthood Sting Videos: What We Can’t Unsee
A year ago today, disturbing images and shocking admissions stung the conscience of a nation.
What unfolded as more undercover videos were released was a drama where it seemed like half the country watched in horror while the other half turned its head in denial.
But we had seen the videos. Confronted with the evidence of bloody limbs and helpless eyes, we staggered away sickened, horrified and determined to do something about it.
In case any of us have forgotten, today the Center for Medical Progress marked the first anniversary of the initial video release of their undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood’s practice of harvesting and selling baby organs from abortions.
The new supercut shows not isolated cases, but numerous Planned Parenthood officials across the country scheming to make money off the “products” of abortion, from Dr. Mary Gatter joking that she wanted a Lamborghini to Dr. Deborah Nucatola how she would check to see which organs were on order before altering her schedule and procedures in order to “get it all intact.”
“As more details and evidence continue to emerge in the ongoing investigation of Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby parts business, it’s clear Planned Parenthood is guilty of far more wrongdoing in their fetal harvesting scheme than anyone initially realized,” says David Daleiden, the lead investigator behind the CMP videos.
Yet every one of these doctors and Planned Parenthood officials implicated in major crimes remain in their positions, even receiving federal funding.
“Planned Parenthood has claimed for one year that they made no money from baby body parts, but faced with an ever-growing body of evidence to the contrary, they have yet to produce anything other than press releases to back up their lies to the public.”
Daleiden concludes, “The rule of law means that there cannot be one special set of rules for Planned Parenthood, and another for everybody else. Planned Parenthood is not above the law and must be held accountable for their callous and careless treatment of vulnerable patients and their barbaric profiteering on baby body parts.”
While many of us have shared the videos with friends and family, too many remain ignorant of these crimes, with mainstream media blackouts and political stonewalling covering up this industrialized killing machine. It may not be comfortable or easy, but it’s time to have a national conversation about abortion profiteering.
Watch the videos. Share the videos. The victims of this violence cannot and must not be unseen.
