Will Most of Us Face a Lonely Death? Welcome to Demographic Winter

And more dispatches from the front lines of the Sexual Revolution.

Ruth Institute Coalitions Director Don Feder spoke on “Demographic Winter: The Fatal Worldwide Fall of Fertility” March 9 at the VI Annual Ibero-American Congress for Life and Family in Guatemala City.

Rapidly declining fertility, leading inevitably to population decline, will be the crisis of the century,” Feder, who has spoken on this issue in more than 20 countries, reported. “Worldwide fertility — the average number of births per woman — has dropped from 4.7 in 1950 to 2.4 in 2017. Sometime in the next ten years, we will probably be at below-replacement fertility (2.1).”

“Then population decline will set in. Soon industrialized nations will find it increasingly difficult to find workers to man farms and factories, serve as first responders, teachers and medical personnel, and do the dozens of other jobs necessary to maintain an advanced industrialized civilization.

“Nations like Japan are already losing people. Between 2015 and 2020, Japan’s population declined by 800,000. It’s projected to fall another 25% by mid-century. So many Japanese are dying alone because they have no children or grandchildren to care for them, that the Japanese have a name for it: ‘lonely death.’ An industry has even sprung up to dispose of their remains.”

Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. commented: “Among pro-family organizations, the Ruth Institute is taking the lead in raising public awareness of the perils of declining fertility. Last year, we launched our Demographic Winter Resource Center to provide information on the causes and consequences of an issue that will affect all of humanity in this century.”

The Ibero-American Congress for Life and Family included more than 200 participants, with 80 delegates from some of the largest pro-life and pro-family groups in the United States. During the event, Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei declared Guatemala the Ibero-American Pro-Life Capital.

A Black Perspective on LGBT Fascism

The latest guest of the Dr. J Show is Dr. Carol Swain, an award-winning political scientist and former tenured professor at Princeton and Vanderbilt Universities. She is the author or editor of 11 books, including the bestseller Black Eye for America: How Critical Race Theory is Burning Down the House and Countercultural Living: What Jesus Has to Say About Life, Marriage, Race, Gender, and Materialism.

Watch as Dr. Swain explains how the civil rights establishment used to stand against “gay rights” because race is not comparable to sexual orientation. But now the civil rights movement has been taken over by the gay lobby. “It has not helped black people that the gay lobby is using civil rights as their platform to push the gay agenda,” Dr. Swain says.

Listen, also, as she explains BLM’s agenda, which includes curriculum enforced in schools across the country. And by the way, “’Restorative justice’ does not mean something positive,” she notes. Watch it all here.

Resources for the Gender Confused

The Ruth Institute exhibit at last’s week Cleveland Right to Life Convention, “Bringing Life Back to America,” provided resources for sidewalk counselors assisting the gender confused.

“Teen girls going to Planned Parenthood for hormones and surgery to try to become boys is a growing issue,” said Ruth Institute president Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D. “Sidewalk counselors have the information and knowledge to assist those seeking abortion, but how do they handle the increasing number of young women on the verge of getting life-altering hormones and surgeries they are likely to regret?

“We handed pro-lifers our transgender brochure, ‘Your Pain Is Real,’ will succinctly lets struggling young women know they are not alone. Mutilating their bodies is not the answer to their pain and confusion. There is another way.

“In addition, we pointed people to our Transgender Resource Center, which, among other resources, features video testimonies by Walt Heyer, who lived as a woman for eight years, and Erin Brewer, who tried to become a boy, hoping that no one would abuse her again.

“So many young people are hurting, most often due to abuse. We want to spread the word that help is available. Since sidewalk counselors increasingly see this new brand of client walking into Planned Parenthood facilities, partnering with the pro-life movement is an excellent way to get the word out and spare these newest victims of the Sexual Revolution from doing lasting harm to themselves,” Morse said.

Removing Morality from your Health Care

At the Ruth Institute’s Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution, Dr. Michael Parker, President of the National Catholic Medical Association, shares what he has observed in the medical establishment, namely, the Hippocratic Oath to “do no harm” being sent through the shredder.

Today’s doctors are pressured to follow the new woke ideology of doing whatever patients feel is right for them, regardless of the doctor’s medical and moral beliefs.

“One of the biggest regulations under attack is conscience protections for health care workers. … Doctors are being forced to perform abortions, euthanasia, and gender reassignment surgeries whether they want to or not.”

Eventually doctors with moral beliefs could be denied medical licenses. Pro-life med students are discriminated against so as to discourage them from entering the medical professions.
