Our Weakness, His Strength

BETTY ROBISON — “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ’s power may rest on me” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

It’s a question I’ve asked myself countless times. Why would God call someone like me to be in the limelight? I didn’t like being the center of attention one bit. I was perfectly fine with being in the background.

To this very day, I’m not fond of being in the limelight, but I have realized it’s in those times, when I have to step out of my comfort zone, that I see God do the most.

God wants to display His power in and through our weakness. Only in Him can we do all that He has called us to. Confess your weakness, give it to Jesus and watch Him step in and do something great!

Take action: Declare today: Jesus, I receive Your freedom in my life. I receive Your grace and mercy. Fear has no place here. You are my security and my confidence. Your Word is life to my body, soul and spirit.
