Fifty-eight hostages have been released after being taken captive by Hamas Oct. 7. Eleven hostages from Kibbutz Nir Oz are slated to be released Monday, Nov. 27. Israel’s military estimated before Friday’s releases that Hamas was holding about 240 people hostage.

Pictures and videos of several of the released hostages reuniting with their families have flooded social media. Here are some of them:

Emily Hand, 9, was reunited with her older sister and father. Her father had previously heard that she was dead.

Dafna Elyakim, 15, and Ela Elyakim, 8, were reunited with their mother, Maayan Zin.

Maya Regev, 21, was reunited with her family. Her brother Itay, 18, is still in captivity.

Doron Katz Asher, 34, Raz, 4, and Aviv, 2, are reunited with their husband and father, Yoni.

Ohad Monder, 9, is shown reuniting with his father as other freed hostages follow behind him and reunite with family members.

Hagar Brodutch, 40, and her children Ofri, 10, Yuval, 9, and Uriah, 4, were reunited with their husband and father, Avichai.

Avigail Idan, age 4, lost both her parents on Oct. 7. She is photographed being reunited with extended family members.

Sharon Avigdori, 52, and her daughter Naom, 12, were reunited with husband and father Chen and son and brother Omer.

Let’s pray for the released hostages and their families as they heal from trauma, and for those who are still held captive to be released.
