Biden and The Truth Beyond the Ukraine Hearsay

By Al Perrotta Published on September 23, 2019

Golly, Molly, are we in downside-up times! The more actors turn political, the more politicians are turning into total drama queens.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was on CNN Sunday morning, declaring President Trump has “crossed the Rubicon” in his conversation with Ukraine’s new president Vologymyr Zelensky. Schiff says he’s now got to start considering impeachment as the “only remedy” to confront this “evil.” Who needs Kevin Spacey when you’ve got Adam Schiff?

The Other Drama Queens

Schiff isn’t the only drama queen. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was declaring Trump’s chat a constitutional crisis. In fact, she tweeted, “At this point, the bigger national scandal isn’t the president’s lawbreaking behavior — it is the Democratic Party’s refusal to impeach him for it.”

I guess if she’s making us give up red meat to save the planet, there’s always chewing the scenery.

Democratic candidates were apoplectic. Again. Beto O’Rourke declared, “Unless we take action now, we will see the end of American democracy.” (A week after saying, “Heck with the 2nd Amendment, we’re coming for your guns.”)

The funniest part. This latest drama is as flimsy as the plot of a bad Lifetime movie.

These Bad Actors Never Learn

These bad actors never learn. Last weekend’s blockbuster was the new sexual abuse charge against Brett Kavanaugh. Well, until it was revealed:

  1. The alleged victim refused to talk to the reporters.
  2. Her friends said she had no memory of the alleged incident.
  3. The original source for the story is a Clinton lawyer.
  4. He didn’t talk to the reporters either. His allegation was passed onto the reporters by two “officials” familiar with his allegation.
  5. An allegation dismissed last fall and rejected by even the Washington Post.

That blockbuster opened big. And closed after a few days.

The New Production

Then came this new production, “The Whistleblower.” And here we go again. A Whistleblower had come forward to report that the president had made a promise to a foreign leader during a phone that was an egregious threat to national security and wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. A promise so dire this brave soul had to speak out for the sake of God and Country.

The accusation that’s now pushed is Trump called Zelensky pressuring him to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden’s wheeling and dealing there. Or else. It’s being framed as Trump hunting for dirt on a “political opponent.” (As if Fading Joe will even make it to New Hampshire.) As if this is about 2020.

What do we now know?

First, Trump made no promise.

Second, Ukraine didn’t feel pressured.

Third, “The Whistleblower” is no whistleblower.

Buried deep in CNN’s report is this outrageous jewel: The whistleblower had zero first hand knowledge of the call. Anything this intel person is revealing of the president’s conversation is hearsay. Thus, as Mark Levin tweeted, “he’s not a whistleblower at all,” and his information is “unreliable and not better than gossip.”

The media’s new theme song is “Second Hand News.” Followed by their other Fleetwood Mac remake, “Don’t Stop Thinking About What to Make Up Tomorrow.”

So What Is This Ukraine Business All About? 2016.

However, let’s take AOC’s charge seriously. Calling up a foreign leader asking for help to take down a political opponent is a bad thing. Calling a foreign leader to protect your own personal interests is a bad thing. So let’s look where this whole business began. Because this is not about 2020, no matter how much the media says it is. It’s about 2016.

As John Solomon reported in April, the Obama Administration wanted all the dirt Ukraine had on Paul Manafort. This would be the same business the FBI had looked into before, but had closed the case. However, when Manafort starting to hang out a little with the Trump campaign, Obama smelled an opening to damage Trump and get inside his campaign. (There’s your abuse of power.)

Ukraine was happy to play along. After all, they’ve openly admitted to helping the Hillary campaign by helping deliver dirt on Manafort. Hillary was their choice. The Ukraine Embassy confessed they actively coordinated with Hillary’s campaign surrogates. (There’s your foreign collusion.)

Since Manafort was also used as a weapon against Trump by the FBI/DOJ/IC cabal and later the Mueller gang, this puts the Ukraine on the list of foreign governments who were part of the anti-Trump sabotage effort.

If you’re trying to figure out what a country aka Obama/Biden did to sabotage you in 2016, and what shady deals they had going, what quid pro quos were in play, you have every right in the world to ask the new President to look into it.

Just like I am sure Trump’s squeezed Italy about their intel community’s involvement.  (Italy’s new prime minister fired six top intelligence officials in May, a move believed connected to their “coordinated surveillance activity with U.S. intelligence officials during the 2016 U.S. election.”)

Just like he probably asked Australia’s new president about Aussie ambassador to England Alexander Downer’s role in the effort to frame George Papadapoulos.

According to John Solomon, Ukraine’s new administration has been trying to come clean about the nation’s interference in the 2016 election and its coordination with the DNC. And the suspicious Biden Family dealings.

Oh, Uncle Joe

As the Democratic drama queens are going on as if the whole thing’s about Trump, the Emmy for “Most Ironic Line by a Bit Actor” goes to …

Joe Biden. Sure, you’d expect Joe Biden to defend his son and his own actions. But Biden’s acting livid and uncharacteristically lucid. Biden, from the script long perfected by Hillary Clinton, claims his family’s dealings had been thoroughly examined and he was found as pure as the driven snow. Then he declared, “I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas dealings.” (Of course, this isn’t what Hunter Biden says.)

Where do you start with Uncle Joe? For context, you have to go back to the seditious efforts to undermine Trump with the Russia hoax and Mueller probe. As I wrote in April, Joe Biden was in the room

Second, Joe Biden was Obama’s point man with Ukraine. Ukraine, as we’ve said, handed over information Obama wanted on Manafort in order to use an FBI investigation into Manfort to dirty up the Trump campaign. This was one of the first facets of what became the seditious Trump-Russia Collusion hoax. (Meanwhile, the Obama administration also told Ukraine to stop pursuing a group founded by George Soros in partnership with the administration.)

Third, Joe Biden openly boasts that he threatened Ukraine’s former president Petro Poroshenko in March 2016. He said he’d withhold a billion dollars in aid to Ukraine unless Poroshenko fired Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. What Biden failed to mention: Shokin was investigating Hunter Biden’s role in a corrupt natural gas company called Burisma. Months after being tossed out of the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine, Biden was put on the Burisma board of directors.

Hunter Biden knew about as much about natural gas as Sean Spicer does about dancing. Yet he was pocketing between $50,000 and $100,000 a month from Burisma.

Why Hunter? Dad

Peter Schweizer detailed Hunter Biden’s business dealings with both Ukraine and China in his book Secret Empires. As he told Laura Ingraham, “He is supposed to be advising them on natural gas regulatory issues. He has no background in Ukraine. He has no background in energy or natural gas. So the question is: What is he being paid for?”

A July 22nd Washington Post headline tells you plenty. “As vice president, Biden said Ukraine should increase gas production. Then his son got a job with a Ukrainian gas company.” Pops was America’s point-man to Ukraine.

Such a cozy coincidence was no surprise to the Post. They note that after graduating college,

much of Hunter Biden’s career has coincided with his father’s work as a senator and vice president. He has been a lobbyist for clients with interests before Congress; a senior vice president at a bank, MNBA, that was a major contributor to his father; and a board member of a company backed by Chinese entities, joining the firm just after his father met with leaders of that country.

That Chinese deal alone was worth about $1.5 billion. For a very detailed look at how the Biden family has long cashed in on Joe Biden’s name and position, check out Politico Magazine‘s stunning expose, “Biden, Inc.” And order Schweitzer’s Secret Empires.

Then you’ll be ready when someone tells you Trump’s behavior is the scandal.

Pumping the Swamp

So where are we? The Whistleblower isn’t a whistleblower. The promise to a foreign leader that threatens national security never happened. And rather than tarnish Trump, the media in its mania has now brought into play shady dealings that should have been covered three years ago. Dealings the media couldn’t be bothered with, especially once Biden decided not to challenge Hillary in 2016.

Ukraine’s former leaders actively teamed with the DNC and helped the Obama/Biden administration frame the Trump campaign in 2016. At the same time, Biden and Obama were putting the screws on Ukraine to protect both Hunter Biden and George Soros. While the younger Biden is being loaded with cash for what?

Trump gladly cops to wanting Ukraine’s help in bringing the truth to light.

Thumbs down to Democratic politicians acting — acting — as if this is a bad thing for the country, when it’s only bad news for the Democratic party. Acting as if this has to do with 2020, when it’s all about 2016.
