And so we come to our final Brew of 2022.

As troubling as 2022 was, we do have plenty of reason for hope.

The main reason we can feel optimistic about 2023 is scriptural. God’s got this. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” (Proverbs 19:21)

End of story. Enjoy the champagne and party favors.

But some significant events in recent months offer good reason to lift our heads heading into the New Year. It comes down to one word: “Truth.”

We are learning the truth. And what do we know about truth? It sets us free. Indeed.

Three crucial areas spell this out:

The Truth Emerges on Government/Big Tech Suppression, Manipulation and Censorship

Elon Musk may well go down as the greatest immigrant to our shores since Alexander Hamilton. Not just for Space X or Tesla, but for using up much of his mass personal fortune to purchase Twitter … and expose an almost unimaginable level of corruption and manipulation by the U.S. government of our democracy and of our health.

The truth is now out. The FBI conspired with Twitter (and other social media) to impact the 2020 election on behalf of Joe Biden. We now know this for a fact. It is indisputable. The FBI fixed the 2020 election. They sabotaged our democracy. We were not crazy. Our tin foil was gold. Now we are better positioned in 2023 to do something about it.

Thanks to Musk, countless stifled conservative voices will again be heard. We will be allowed back into the marketplace of ideas. Free speech, at least on Twitter, is being restored. A fundamental victory for liberty. A great hope for 2023.

Moreover, Musk this week promised Twitter will “follow the science, which necessarily includes reasoned questioning of the science.”

That was not the case since the outbreak of COVID-19.

The Truth Emerges About COVID-19 and the Vaccines

Twitter, we now know as fact, suppressed on behalf of the federal government vital information about COVID’s origins, potential inexpensive treatments, the harm of lockdowns and the potential dangers of the forced COVID-19 vaccines. We now know the truth. The government stifled the process of science … with a death and injury toll we are only beginning to calculate.

We learned in 2022 the true toll children have suffered from the school lockdowns, with reading and math scores plunging faster than temperatures after an Arctic cold front.

We have learned that the increased risk of myocarditis from the jab is real. Not “misinformation.” The tragedy is all those who have and will suffer from the side effects of the forced vaccinations. The hope is that with the light of truth we can stop and hopefully reverse much of the damage.

We have discovered the truth: Much of what Dr. Fauci and his allies told us was wrong, and many of those he and Twitter suppressed and attacked were right. Vindication for the likes of Alex Berenson, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya is bittersweet.

With the incoming Republican House majority promising a full investigation, we can look forward to seeing Dr. Tony Fauci under oath, and getting a much clearer picture of how this pandemic came about. Knowing we were lied to by health officials we trusted cuts deep. But cleaning the wound in 2023 is the first step in healing.

The Truth About the Transgender Cult

In the last months of 2022, the tide began to turn against the transgender cult. The manic, dare I say demonic, effort to convince kids they can change their sex with surgery and chemicals.

Vanderbilt University spilled the truth that transitioning surgery and treatment is big business. So-called “gender care” is not about the mental health of children but the financial health of the hospital’s bottom line.

Detransitioners like Chloe Cole are spilling the truth about the heinous, hellish rush to chop off healthy body parts. They are exposing the wicked, wicked lie by such people as Deputy Health Secretary Rachel Levine who claims that mutilating and chemically castrating children in the name of “gender rights” is a “positive value.”

Former Navy SEAL Chris Beck was paraded around for years, celebrated for “transitioning” to female. He has now detransitioned and is speaking truth. That’s a brave warrior alright.

2022 also brought pushback against transgender men competing as women. And dominating — even injuring — their competition. 2022’s prime example: The media — and even the university — tried to make Univ. of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas out to be a “Female Athlete of the Year,” a hero, a trail-blazer, a Jackie Robinson. No, the people and Thomas’ teammates fought back. Thomas is not just taking advantage of his female competition, he is a cheat and a bully.

Also under fire is the sexualizing of children and, yes, the grooming of children.

Drag Queens gyrating and grinding, half-naked, in front of kids! Communities and parents are now fighting back.

Fashion lines like Balenciaga use children in bondage and pedophile themed ads. The public is now fighting back.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

We live in a Bananas Republic culture that works 24/7 to convince you up is down, down is up, right is wrong, and wrong is to be celebrated.

In 2023, we must hold firm to what is true, what is real, what is good. We must work in our own spheres of influence to illuminate and elevate … and alleviate.

We must show in our homes, in our communities, in our schools, in our churches, in our offices, in our politics, that the “Father of Lies” is not our daddy.

In 2023, we hold to the Truth. Champion those who tell the truth. And cling to the One who is “The Way, the Truth and the Life.”

That, dear friends, is how we revive this nation.
