The Brew: You May Not Care About Apathy, But Apathy Cares About You

Al Perrotta is sheltering in place in an undisclosed location.

It’s tempting, I know, to β€œcheck out” from following the atrocities that pile up each week at the hands of our possessed Gadarene elites. Maybe I should say instead, β€œunder their trotters,” as this herd of feral swine thunders over the innocent and shoves them into the sea. So many outrages, such blatant and shameless lies … so little time! Maybe we can wave off those that don’t directly affect us.

We can say, β€œDon’t try that in Texas.” Or (as the censored song says), don’t try it β€œin a small town.” But of course our enemies don’t respect geographical boundaries. They don’t even follow our laws! And our real Enemy is every bit as present and active in the buckle of the Bible Belt as he is in my native New York City. He might just have to play an “angel of light.”

Make no mistake about it: The tyrants are coming for Texas, and rural Mississippi towns, and Arctic outposts in Alaska. We’re not talking about a few β€œBohemians” seeking little enclaves in coastal cities where they can hide out from old-fashioned β€œbourgeois” norms or Biblical morals. What we face now, including the lawless federal government, its KGB-inspired Deep State, and the Media-Educational Complex, is flat-out totalitarian. It won’t stop because it can’t stop, because human beings are no longer in the driver’s seat. And Screwtape doesn’t sleep.

So read the following with that in mind, and let it spur you both to prayer and to action β€” while there’s still time to fight.

California Bullies School District Into Honoring Teen Sex Abuser

Gateway Pundit shows us how dedicated the state government of California is to honoring groomers and bullying parents who register any objections:

A Southern California school board caved and approved a curriculum that mentions a gay rights activist who sexually assaulted a minor teen boy after Governor Newsom threatened to crush them with a $1.5 million fine.

A few days ago Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom fined a Southern California school district $1.5 million for rejecting textbooks that mention Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist who sexually assaulted minor teen boys.

Harvey Milk reportedly sexually assaulted teen boys.

One of Harvey Milk’s teen rape victims went on to commit suicide.

Conservative school board members at Temecula Valley Unified School District rejected the state-sanctioned books that mention Harvey Milk.

Newsom earlier this month called the conservative board members β€˜extremist’ as he threatened them with heavy fines.

β€œWe’re going to purchase the book for these students β€” the same one that hundreds of thousands of kids are already using. If these extremist school board members won’t do their job, we will β€” and fine them for their incompetence,” Newsom said last week.

Apparently β€œcompetence” includes craven subservience to the sex agenda of deviants. Remember that California will now seize custody of kids whom school counselors have convinced that they are β€œtrans,” if parents object to their chemical or surgical β€œtransition.”

But Hey, There’s No Hidden Groomer Agenda Here

When you think of β€œBloomberg,” what comes to mind? Boring financial news, and a brief, tiny 2016 presidential candidate? Think again. In fact, Bloomberg News is a place where Mammon and Sodom seem to collaborate quite closely. Last week, Bloomberg published a scathing, destructive review of Sound of Freedom, trying to tank the movie with allegations that it’s somehow propaganda for the β€œQ” conspiracy theory. Readers must have come away thinking either, a) β€œWow, what an evil movie!” or … b) β€œWhat’s wrong with that reviewer?”

Guess which choice proved correct? Bloomberg’s review was written by Noah Berlatsky. Writers at the website Evie did their own research about Mr. Berlatsky, and what do you think they found? Just this:

Despite the film being based on real and harrowing events, Berlatsky suggests that critics have linked it to the QAnon movement and that anti-trafficking experts claim its portrayal of trafficking is “misleading.” His conclusion is that Sound of Freedom is a “QAnon dog whistle” that does nothing to “help victims.” Isn’t it suspicious that mainstream media is attacking a movie raising awareness of child exploitation?

Not only is Berlatsky facing backlash for his scathing review – he’s also under fire for being a pedophile sympathizer. In fact, he once served as the communications director for Prostasia, a “pro-pedophilia” advocacy group. According to their website, Prostasia supports the “Minor Attracted Persons” (MAPs) Club, a notorious group that tries to normalize pedophilia.

“Despite claiming to be motivated by a desire to eradicate child sexual abuse, the organization’s efforts have dedicated themselves to crusades against child pornography bans, letter-writing campaigns to state representatives demanding child-like sex dolls be kept legal, and funding research into ‘fantasy sexual outlets‘ for pedophiles,” Reduxx founder Anna Slatz explains. “Prostasia has also condemned anti-pedophile sentiment as harmful ‘Nazi-like’ rhetoric and called for its mass censorship across social media.”

Maybe groundless talk of β€œQAnon” is actually a dog-whistle for β€œboy-lovers.” Fight back: Go see the movie again, and tell your friends to do the same. And support heroic missionaries who fight against sex abuse, such as those in Rescue Life.

β€œAnybody Who Laughs at Us Must Be a Nazi”

No, the following news report doesn’t come from The Babylon Bee. (I don’t envy the writers there, trying each day to keep their satire just a half-step ahead of the unwitting self-parody that bubbles up in our headlines like an exploding bus station toilet.) It comes from The Blaze and it’s all too real:

A team of researchers at Oregon State University blamed the “rise of online fascism” for students’ sarcastic and mocking responses to their woke identity survey, according to a June paper published in the Bulletin of Applied Transgender Studies.

The researchers’ paper, “Attack Helicopters and White Supremacy: Interpreting Malicious Responses to an Online Questionnaire about Transgender Undergraduate Engineering and Computer Science Student Experiences,” accused the students of “tamper[ing] with the study outcomes and/or harass[ing] the researchers” by submitting responses that allegedly included “slurs, hate speech, or direct targeting of the research team.”

…

According to the research team, 50 of the 349 surveyed students provided “malicious responses.”

When asked about their gender, 24% of respondents claimed to identify as “a helicopter or aircraft,” including an “Apache Attack Helicopter,” “pansexual attack helicopter,” and an “F-16 Fighter Jet.” Other students replied, “There are only two genders,” “a human being,” and “I’m just here for the gift card.”

Keep it up, nerds! Mocking the priests of Baal makes the baby Jesus giggle.

When Your Poorly Educated Family Members Call You a β€œFascist”

Maybe you should send them to read this wise essay, by the leading liberal scholar of actual, historic fascism β€” you know the kind that really existed, which murdered and terrorized millions of people, and which my dad served under General George Patton to help eliminate.

I’ve read several of Professor Stanley Payne’s books on the subject. I can vouch for the fact that he’s profoundly well-informed about fascism, and utterly hostile to it. But Payne is sick of seeing the word β€œfascist” cheapened by constant use on the lips of lazy ideologues, student snowflakes, and social media censors. He writes:

[T]he term has lost all specificity. Its usage isn’t merely wildly contradictory, but applied in the most directly and specifically opposite ways.

…

The β€œreally existing” form of Western proto-authoritarianism doesn’t stem from small, scantily armed β€œmilitias” and disoriented β€œinsurrectionists,” nor from a chaotic demagogue such as Trump, but from the state apparatus already functioning. Government by executive decree rather than elected legislatures, politicized intelligence services, and a biased, coercive judiciary are its key constituents.

In other words, if you want to find an actual fascist, you should drop by FBI headquarters. But if anyone there tries to speak to you, remember that the only thing you should ever say to anybody from the Bureau (in any context, for any reason) is β€œLawyer, lawyer, lawyer, lawyer.” In fact, it’s easy to sing that word over and over to the tune of Beethoven’s β€œOde to Joy.” Try it yourself:

Lawyer, Lawyer, Lawyer, Lawyer,
Lawyer Lawyer Lawyer-Law!
Lawyer, Lawyer, Lawyer, Lawyer
Lawyer Lawyer Lawyer-Law!

Ever Wonder How White Leftists Cooperate With Black Leaders?

Black Americans are among the most socially conservative, church-going people among us. They’re also disproportionate victims of the worst social problems enabled by the Democrats: crime deaths, urban chaos, death in the womb, wretched public schools, and even mass low-skill immigration. And yet their leaders invariably end up repeating the most poisonous talking points of sheltered white leftist elites. Are you curious how that ends up happening?

Well, your mind should boggle no more. We have exclusive footage that explains how the Democrats manage this: Ventriloquism. Watch this member of Congress, Stacey Elizabeth Plaskett (the non-voting rep from the U.S. Virgin Islands) and her (ahem) “staffer” defend the FBI’s cover-up of Hunter Biden’s corruption.

I’d say that this performance compares favorably with acts such as that of Senor Wences, whose lips were more obviously moving:

Brilliant, independent-minded black citizens, such as Candace Owen, Dr. Ben Carson, or (especially) Justice Clarence Thomas don’t get such gentle handling from our elites. Instead they get tarred as “racist adjacent,” “sellouts” or even “Uncle Toms.”

Along The Stream

Don’t miss Alex Chediak’s incisive report on how political correctness and the demand for equal outcomes (regardless of talent or merit) are gutting math and science education in California. Planes will crash and buildings will collapse some day because this madness prevailed. Over in China, the Communist party bureaucrats are laughing at us.
