The Brew: Was Mar-a-Lago Raided to Find Missing Binder That Proved Obama-Biden CIA Targeted Trump?

You Want to Talk Insurrection? Obama-Biden CIA Tasked Allies With Spying on Trump Associates, Which Lead to Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax
The Obama-Biden CIA requested foreign intelligence sources to spy on 26 Trump associates early in the 2016 campaign, and it’s this request that triggered the Russian Collusion Hoax. What’s more, the files detailing that Black Op against the then-GOP candidate may be behind the Biden administration’s raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
That is the bombshell news from (liberal) investigative journalists Michael Shellenberger, Matt Taibbi and Alex Gutentag, published on Shellenberger’s substack.

Learning the Obama-Biden CIA instigated the spying on Trump flips the FBI narrative of the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation on its head. The story has always been that the FBI launched the probe into Trump after foreign allies reported suspicious contacts between some Trump associates and Russians.
Special Counsel John Durham concluded last year that the FBI never should have opened the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Those reports of Russian contacts turned out to be dubious in some cases and outright false in others. And, the whole Trump-Russia song and dance was created by the Hillary Clinton campaign, namely current National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Now multiple sources are telling Shellenberger and his team “the United States Intelligence Community (IC), including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), illegally mobilized foreign intelligence agencies to target Trump advisors long before the summer of 2016.”
(The same intelligence community that in 2020 would lie to the American voters about Hunter Biden’s laptop. But we digress.)
Then-CIA Director John Brennan came up with a list of 26 Trump associates to be “bumped” — that is, concoct reasons to make contact with the target and form a relationship in order to gather intelligence or share misinformation. Assets from the “Five Eyes” allies started bumping Trump associates, such as George Papadopoulos and Roger Stone, as often as if they were in a mosh pit.
Is Mysterious Binder the Real Reason Mar-a-Lago Was Raided?
You want to know why the Biden Administration was so hot to raid Mar-a-Lago over what to everyday eyes looked like a boring, easily worked-out administrative dispute?
Perhaps the raid wasn’t just to create a criminal case against the likely GOP nominee in 2024.
Turns out the information about this Obama CIA operation against Trump was contained in a 10-inch binder. The binder was reportedly kept in a secure location in Washington, DC. On his last day in office, President Trump declassified all the “Crossfire Hurricane” documents, which would include this binder, hoping to shed light on the Obama-Biden administration’s role in instigating the Trump-Russia hoax.
However, Shellenberger told Jesse Watters Tuesday night, rumors are the binder may be missing and recovering the binder may be behind the raid on Mar-a-Lago.
“If this binder — which we will discuss more in an upcoming piece — holds what we’ve been told, namely raw intelligence demonstrating a U.S. government-initiated hoax, the implications are profound, and the raid to recover it suggests a dramatic and troubling effort to conceal the truth. There has been widespread speculation that this binder was the reason, or a reason, for the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago.”
Margot Cleveland at The Federalist digs into the Shellenberger report, providing more background. She also concludes, “The now-known significance of that binder also raises the specter that the search of Mar-a-Lago wasn’t to protect classified materials but to protect intelligence agencies — American and foreign.”
Now Trump is facing trial in the Mar-a-Lago documents case. On Monday, a hearing was held inside a SCIF. The topic, a law that protects classified information from being shared in open court. Trump’s lawyers say the classified information helps his case and Judge Aileen Cannon had previously ordered the release of unredacted documents. Special Counsel Jack Smith wants to keep it locked up. Which conveniently allows him to leak about how horribly dangerous to national security the documents Trump had were, without him having to prove it. But now, even more crucially, would prevent exposing the Obama-Biden CIA’s role in the Russian hoax.
Trump Knew the Score
In August of 2020, Trump talked about the spying on his campaign and how “they got caught.” 60 Minutes anchor Leslie Stahl famously — and predictably — didn’t want to hear it.
A “Serious National Security Threat”? Or Just More Russia, Russia Russia
The nation and news media were sent into a brief frenzy Wednesday when House Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner released a cryptic message about a “serious national security threat.” Nobody would describe the threat on the record, but soon Fox News, NBC News and others were reporting it has to do with a “new” Russian space-based military capacity.
With this new Intelligence Community report coming perfectly timed to pressure the House to sign onto another $60 billion for Ukraine … and perfectly timed to deflect from how this same IC had tasked our foreign friends to spy on two dozen Trump associates in early 2016.
