The Brew: Old Glory Pushed Aside for ‘Pride’

Happy Monday!

Flagging an Egregious Offense Against America โ€ฆ and God

Wednesday is Flag Day, honoring the olโ€™ Stars and Stripes.

According to 4 U.S. Code ยง 7:

No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof.

The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.

What would it tell you if someone placed another flag in a higher position of prominence that the American flag at the White House? Wouldnโ€™t it signal another nation or power has taken over the country?

Which gets you to Saturday.

On Saturday, Joe Biden threw a big โ€œPrideโ€ celebration at the White House. Now, after reading Ashley Bidenโ€™s diary itโ€™s understandable why heโ€™s all in for the sexualization and mutilation of children. Indeed during the event he said fighting to protect transgender brainwashing and surgery makes you, โ€œhysterical,โ€ โ€œprejudicedโ€ and โ€œugly.โ€

But to diminish the American flag and declare in front of the world the superiority of the Pride flag? To suggest a subjugation of America to LGBTQ+ radicalism?

Exaggerating? Hereโ€™s his own tweet.

Put aside the politics of it. โ€œAmerica First,โ€ and all that. I mean, Biden has taken in enough millions from China and Ukraine that he might as well fly their flags at the White House instead of ours.

What happens when the leader of a nation dedicated at its founding to God and greatly blessed by His divine hand, pushes God aside โ€ฆ and mocks Him on the White House lawn?

This is the prophet Isaiah. It only sounds like a news report.

They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or softened with oil. Your country lies desolate; your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence foreigners devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners. (Isaiah 1:4-7)

Put simply, judgment and ruin.

At the very least, as Catholic Vote notes, it announces a new state religion.

Update: Charges Dropped Against Christian Arrested for Reading Bible Verse at Pride Event After D.A. Took One Look at the Video

Last week, we told you about the Christian busted at a Pride rally in Reading, Pa. for simply reciting a Bible verse. Or partial Bible verse, to be accurate. Heโ€™d only gotten three words out before a cop rushed in to stop him. Damon Atkins was charged with โ€œdisorderly conduct, engaged in fighting.โ€

A believer who had happened upon the rally recorded the incident. The video went viral. Thankfully, it was also seen by the Berks County D.A.โ€™s office. They took one look and dropped all charges.

Not only that, according to Fox News, Berks County Commissioner Christian Leinbach believes the arrest was โ€œunlawfulโ€ and โ€œcould open the City of Reading and their police department to legal actionโ€

Joe Biden Jokes โ€œWhereโ€™s the Money?โ€

If I stood credibly accused of accepting a $5 million bribe and Iโ€™m on tape boasting about doing the very thing Iโ€™m allegedly bribed to do, I hope I wouldnโ€™t be smug when asked about it. Especially if I were the leader of the free world.

Joe Biden was asked Friday about the detailed allegation from an FBI informant that Biden had accepted $5 milllion from Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky with Hunter getting another $5 million. His response? โ€œWhereโ€™s the Money?โ€

Funnily enough, thereโ€™s an answer to Joeโ€™s question.  Zlochevsky himself boasted that theyโ€™d used so many shell corporations and banks to funnel the dough to Joe, it would take 10 years for the Americans to figure out where it went.

As David Marcus wrote in The Daily Mail, Biden โ€œsounded like a mob boss confident that he’d hidden the body well.โ€

Rep. Byron Donald vows House Republicans will unearth the loot.

Trump Vows to Fight as Former FBI Honcho Lays Out Why He Protested Mar-a-Lago Raid

A defiant Donald Trump took the stage at Georgiaโ€™s GOP convention two days after his historic indictment. He naturally blasted the โ€œabuse of powerโ€ by Joe Biden and the โ€œweaponizedโ€ DOJ, and insisted heโ€™s undeterred. โ€œI will never yield. I will never be deterred. I will never stop fighting for you.โ€

But Trumpโ€™s reaction isnโ€™t the most interesting news of the weekend.

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s fascinating. The FBI honcho who oversaw the early J6 investigations and was neck-deep in the bizarre Gov. Whitmer case is calling foul on the Mar-a-Lago raid. His name is Steven Dโ€™Antuono, the former head of the Washington Field Office (WFO). And heโ€™s no Trumper.

According to the House Judiciary Committee, Dโ€™Antuono gave them four reasons the raid violated protocol and standards, and why he had fought against it. You can check the letter Chairman Jim Jordan wrote Merrick Garland for the details.

Keep in mind Special Counsel Jack Smithโ€™s insistence Friday that Trump is being treated equally under the law.

  1. The Miami Field Office did not conduct the search. (Thus breaking protocol.)
  2. The Department did not assign a U.S. Attorneyโ€™s Office to the matter. (Also breaking protocol. Instead, the case went to someone deeply involved in the politicized and biased Crossfire Hurricane and Hillary investigations.)
  3. The FBI did not first seek consent to effectuate the search.
  4. The FBI refused to wait for President Trumpโ€™s attorney to be present before executing the search.

Number three and four jump out to the layman. Dโ€™Antuono thought the bureau should ask Trump if they could do a search rather than barge in under a search warrant. (You know, as they did Joe Biden when it came to searching the various places he stashed classified documents. Bidenโ€™s lawyers were all over the searches of his cribs and offices, whereas Trumpโ€™s lawyers were kept out of the house.) Dโ€™Antuono thought that would be better for all involved and the country. Oh, but it wouldnโ€™t look nearly as dramatic on TV.

From Jordanโ€™s letter to Garland: โ€œMr. Dโ€™Antuono indicated a belief that either you or Director Christopher Wray made the decision to seek a search warrant, despite opposition from the line agents working this case in the WFO.โ€

Jordan wants Garland to testify about the indictment.

โ€œUnabomberโ€ Ted Kaczynski Dies from Suicide

โ€œThe Unabomberโ€ Ted Kaczynski has died by his own hand in his cell at the Federal Medical Center in Butner, NC. Kaczynski was 81 and suffering from late stage cancer.

The Unabomber terrorized the nation for 17 years, killing three and injuring 23 in a series of bombings between 1978 and 1995. The Harvard-trained mathematician had vowed to send more bombs if his anti-technology โ€œManifestoโ€ wasnโ€™t published. The FBI decided it was worth the risk, and the risk paid off.

Kaczynskiโ€™s brother David and sister-in-law recognized the similarity between the manifesto and Kaczynskiโ€™s writings to family. He was arrested at his sparse, isolated cabin deep in the Montana woods.  Authorities found two meticulously crafted bombs ready to be sent.

Thank God he was captured before he could harm more innocent people.

Elon Musk suggested Saturday that, madman though he was, Kaczynski wasnโ€™t so far off on the dangers of technology and modern life.

A wonderful piece from Stream warrior Jennifer Hartline. “Thieves of Innocence.” “The most hated thing in our culture today is not a political opinion, or an ethnicity or race, or a class or status, or any โ€œgroup.โ€ It is innocence.
