The Brew: ‘Never Again is Now’ … But Does Washington Really Get It?

President Joe Biden, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, addresses the attacks in Israel Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the State Dining Room of the White House in Washington, DC.

Welcome to Wednesday.

It remains hard to escape the horror. It helps to hold to Scripture to know we’ve been here before and God is faithful.

They Burned and Beheaded Babies

On Saturday, the world saw the largest mass execution of Jews since the Holocaust. We cannot let this pass. We simply cannot go from β€œNever again” to β€œNever mind, what’s new on Netflix?”

They burned Jewish children alive. They beheaded babies. God help us if we become desensitized and do not see what is unfolding.

As Israel War Room posted, β€œNever again is now.”

In Sydney, pro-Palestinian supporters shouted β€œGas the Jews!” The Australian Jewish Association warns of Arabs on the streets hunting for Jews to kill. Thankfully, AJA reports, the suspects were caught. A good thing, since Australia’s draconian anti-gun laws have removed the ability of innocents there to defend themselves. Jewish targets remain on alert throughout the world.

Thousands of pro-Palestinians in London celebrated the slaughter. According to Reuters, the number of anti-Semitic incidents has skyrocketed since the attack.

Here, Black Lives Matter Grassroots has expressed its solidarity with the people who massacred 1,000 innocents, using the word you’re hearing a lot from the apologists for genocide: β€œdecolonization.”

Understand what the group that burned American cities in 2020 is saying. They want to bring such β€œdecolonization” to the U.S. Understand they are teaching all about it at Harvard, where dozens of student groups have signed a statement commending Saturday’s attack.

Understand it is not academic.

God knows what help these β€œdecolonization” β€” translation β€œeradication” β€” forces will get from those Biden has allowed into our nation. Consider the stunning report leaked to Fox News. Thousands of so called β€œspecial interest” aliens have been encountered at the border since 2021. These are people from countries with terrorism roots. Are they all … or even most, terrorists? Of course not. But what percentage needs to be? And who knows how many more have slipped through without notice?

Couple this with a new House report which claims, β€œMore than 99% of illegal aliens released by the Biden Administration between Jan 20, 2021, and Mar 31, 2023, remain in America.”

Does Washington really get it? Get that β€œNever again is now”?

And I don’t mean Biden’s former envoy to Iran, Robert Malley, who’s under criminal investigation for being part of a spy ring for Iran, the puppet-masters for Hamas.

And I don’t mean the terrorist-loving, America-hating, poison-spewing Rep. Rashida Tlaib who happily plants the flag of the Palestinians outside her Congressional office door.

I’m talking official Washington.

But Climate Change

On Monday, White House spokesperson John Kirby β€” with the genocidal assault still fresh and the Shi’ite terrorist regime in Iran ever closer to its dream of a Mahdi-welcoming nuclear annihilation of Israel β€” confirmed the White House thinks β€œclimate change” is the nation’s β€œonly existential threat.”

Martha McCallum, β€œDoes Biden stand by his comment that climate change is β€˜more frightening than a nuclear war’?”

Kirby: “Absolutely he does β€” climate change is an existential threat!”

McCallum: “More frightening than nuclear war!?”

Kirby: β€œYes.”

Kirby made this claim even after Russia announced it is thinking about quitting the nuclear test ban treaty.

But Ukraine

Tucked into The Hill’s reporting on Biden’s speech Tuesday, is this: β€œBiden is expected to tie funding for Israel to additional funding for Ukraine’s war effort, which the White House has struggled to pass with an increasing number of House Republicans not supporting it.”

Same deal at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue. The Senate’s answer to the genocidal assault on Israel is … β€œHow can we use this crisis to get more money to Ukraine?” The Washington Examiner reports β€œSenators hope to combine Ukraine aid with military assistance for Israel following a failed attempt to pass the controversial funding last month.”

Biden: β€œThis Was an Act of Sheer Evil”

Joe Biden broke his relative silence with a speech Tuesday, declaring Saturday’s attack an β€œact of sheer evil.”

β€œThere are moments in this life, I mean this literally, when a pure unadulterated evil is unleashed on this world. The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend,” Biden said. β€œThe brutality of Hamas, this bloodthirstiness, brings to mind the worst rampages of ISIS. And sadly for the Jewish people, it’s not new. This attack has brought to the surface painful memories and the scars left by millennia of antisemitism and genocide of the Jewish people.”

He called for Americans to β€œcome together” and pledged support for Israel and American Jews. He warned hostile actors not to take advantage of the chaos. Still, the Commander-in-Chief did not have any direct word to those who have already killed and kidnapped Americans.

WATCH:

Joe Biden announced 14 Americans are now confirmed dead.

Americans Have Been Taken Hostage

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who just two weeks ago was gloating about the calm in the Middle East, said after Biden’s speech that 20 Americans are missing. It is not known if all are being held hostage.

Added Sullivan, “We did not see anything that suggested an attack of this type was going to unfold any more than the Israelis did.”

Well, maybe if your gang had spent less time using counter-terrorism resources to snoop around school board meetings, traditional Catholic churches and anyone with a Trump sticker on their car, you would have. Just a thought.

Exaggerating?

Former CIA Head Calls for Assassination of Senator He Doesn’t Like

Let’s give another example of just how far the intel elites have drawn their eyes off the ball. Former CIA Director Michael Hayden is openly calling for the assassination of Sen. Tommy Tuberville. Why? The why shouldn’t matter β€” it’s sick for any reason β€” but here it is. In protest of Biden’s woke military pushing abortions and all other matters having nothing to do with preparedness, Tuberville has been blocking unanimous consent votes on filling top military positions. He’s making the Senate do the nominations one at a time.

To the X question, β€œShould Tommy Tuberville be removed from his committee?,” Hayden replied, β€œHow about the human race?”

How is this connected? Hayden was one of the 51 top intel officials who betrayed their oaths and signed that infamous letter claiming Hunter’s laptop was Russian misinformation. An act designed for the sole purpose of throwing the election to Joe Biden. The same Joe Biden whose administration has been gifting Hamas and Iran like he’s Santa, opening the border wide and claiming Trump voters are the β€œextremists” posing the greatest danger to our nation. All while ignoring those from jihadists to BLM to enemy regimes who salivate at the thought of our destruction.

Folks like Hayden won’t be paying the price. We pray further Americans won’t either.

Oh … by the way, Hayden doubled down Tuesday.

Notice the slippery change in language. “Not be considered a member of the human race” is different than “removed” from the human race. And don’t go looking for any tweets in support of Israel or calling out those who slaughtered and kidnapped Americans. But is a former military general and head of CIA going to face consequences for wanting a U.S. senator dead? Any D.C. gulags for him? No. He’ll just keep hanging out at CNN.

As the havoc he helped bring about continues.
