The Brew: More Trans Violence Foiled, More on God’s Miraculous Protection of His People
Plus, Joe Biden goes to Pennsylvania.
Happy Friday!
Today’s Brew is pouring out God’s protection over Israel, and others’ protection of progressive narratives.
Trans Teen Arrested After Police Uncover Plot to Shoot Up Elementary School
Thank God they were able to stop this one. And credit @rondeaulivia of Breitbart News for getting this one on the radar.
An 18-year-old girl who identifies as a boy was arrested Wednesday in Rockville, Maryland outside of Washington after federal agents uncovered a manifesto outlining her plans to massacre children at an elementary school.
Andrea Ye, who goes by Alex Ye, was busted following a joint investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department and agents from the FBI’s Baltimore field office. According to MCPD, Ye strategizes in the manifesto about wanting to target an elementary school, how to carry out the attack, and says she wants to be famous. More details on the case will be released later today.
We think legacy media outlets will likely ignore them. You’ve heard “If it bleeds, it leads”? Add to it, “If it’s woke, it ain’t spoke.”
Should the Nashville Manifesto Be Released?
The arrest of yet another transgender person bent on violence echoes the case of 28-year-old Audrey Hale, who went on a killing spree at a Christian elementary school in Nashville last year. Three little children and three adults died. This week, arguments were heard in court over whether Hale’s manifesto should be released.
Media companies, free-speech advocates, and guns-rights groups want the manifesto, citing the public’s right to know what motivated Hale. The families, the Covenant School, and LGBTQ activists want to make sure it never fully sees the light of day.
Judge I’Aesha L. Myles has not said when she will issue a ruling.
Joe Biden’s “Cannibals Ate My Uncle” Story and Other Tales from Pennsylvania
Joe Biden is not having a good couple of days in Pennsylvania. He went to a gas station, apparently in an effort to match the spontaneous excitement of Trump hitting that Harlem bodega. Nobody paid him any mind. Then again, given the rising price of gasoline, that’s probably a good thing,
Biden just tried to copy Trump by going to a gas station in Pennsylvania.
Instead he got ignored by everyone there.pic.twitter.com/o5ABNzwgNP

He again creeped folks out by rubbing the cheek of a little girl. The biggest crowds he’s seeing are pro-Palestinian protesters screaming about “Genocide Joe.”
Plus, James O’Keefe’s OMG captured a top administration advisor admitting that Chief of Staff Jeff Zients actually runs things at the White House. “Whatever [Zients] says, it’s what the president says,” Tyler Robinson of the Small Business Administration told the undercover reporter. Robinson also revealed how his boss, SBA head Isabel Guzman, travels around the country at Biden’s request, doing campaign work for Democratic candidates (and possibly violating the Hatch Act in the process).

Meanwhile, Politico reports Biden staffers and aides have taken to calling Trump “Hitler Pig.” I wonder if these are the same aides who took to the streets in support of Hamas?
Still, you have to hand it to Biden for his ability to come up with entertaining fables about his life. He recently shared the tale of how his “Uncle Bosey” was shot down over New Guinea in World War II, and his body never recovered because of the cannibals who lived in the area.
Biden has a new story: Uncle Bosey got shot down in a plane and was possibly eaten by African cannibals. pic.twitter.com/9cSP29GSxx

Not for one second do we want to diminish the service and sacrifice of Biden’s uncle, Second Lt. Ambrose Finnigan. However, according to military records, Finnigan was a passenger on a courier flight that went down off the New Guinea coast due to engine failure. One of the four people aboard was rescued by a passing barge. An aerial search the next day did not spot the wreckage, nor the three others, including Finnigan. There was no mention at all of cannibals. (Though there were cannibals in New Guinea at the time, so the Biden’s story wasn’t made entirely out of whole cloth.)
Columbia University President Ducks DEI Question by Suggesting Faculty Can’t Spell
During her Capitol Hill appearance Wednesday, Columbia University President Nemat “Minouche” Shafik suggested faculty at her school are dumb rather than concede they are woke ideologues. Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) asked her why a guidebook for Columbia’s School of Social Work spells the word “folks” throughout as “folx.”
“They don’t know how to spell?” she responded.
Oh, they know how to spell. And she knows what’s going on. As The Federalist reports:
The term “folx” spelled with an “x” rather than a “ks,” is far-left language manipulation to “explicitly signal the inclusion of groups commonly marginalized,” according to Merriam-Webster. In other words, it takes a word with a fixed meaning and distorts it to signal fealty to the left’s “diversity, equity, and inclusion” framework.
Rep. Banks: "Can you explain why the word 'folks' is spelled f-o-l-x throughout this guidebook?"
Columbia President: "They don't know how to spell? I'm not familiar with that spelling." pic.twitter.com/wy5aZpUAcP

Shafik was testifying mostly about her university’s rampant and violent antisemitism. Indeed, the campus has been rocked by two straight days of pro-Hamas demonstrations recently.
Three students have been suspended from Columbia for their role in the pro-Palestinian protests, including the daughter of virulent antisemite Squad member Ilhan Omar. Irsa Hirshi, who attends the affiliated Barnard College, announced her suspension on X.
i’m an organizer with CU Apartheid Divest @ColumbiaSJP, in my 3 years at @BarnardCollege i have never been reprimanded or received any disciplinary warnings
i just received notice that i am 1 of 3 students suspended for standing in solidarity with Palestinians facing a genocide.

Aren’t you supposed to rebel when you get to college? Shouldn’t Irsa be doing so by dating a nice Jewish boy and observing Shabbat?
A Miracle in Israel and the Worship God
Finally, yesterday’s Brew contained the revelatory account from a physics professor who formerly worked in the Israeli defense ministry who says, scientifically, there is no accounting for 99% of Iran’s missiles and drones being knocked out of the sky last weekend but for the Hand of God. He called it a miracle on par with the parting of the Red Sea.
To refresh, here’s that tweet:
Professor of physics, Maximilian Abitbol, who is also an expert on the defense industry had this to say about the events of Saturday night.
This is a must read.

Stream reader John Stalmach hadn’t seen the Brew yesterday morning when he began his daily Bible reading. He’s given us permission to share what he told us.
“My reading was in II Chronicles 16-20. Reading through chapter 20, these verses stood out to me:
21 And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the LORD and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,
“Give thanks to the LORD,
for his steadfast love endures forever.”22 And when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.
23 For the men of Ammon and Moab rose against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, devoting them to destruction, and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they all helped to destroy one another.
“And the thought came to me, that’s the answer: we need to praise the Lord, then stand and see Him cause our enemies to destroy each other.”
After John finished reading, he checked to see if the Brew had been posted. “After reading about what God had done for Israel, all I could say was Wow!”
I’m assuming there was much praising of God last weekend (during Shabbat), ending in the miracle of destroying 99.9% of the incoming attack.
That served as an almost immediate confirmation of the original thought that came while reading the Bible. Instead of worrying, or placing our hope in men (presidents, congress, the courts), we need to take our concerns to God and leave them with Him, then begin to praise His name and watch Him work.
As the miraculous blunting of the attack on Israel demonstrated, God is still able to take care of His people when they follow Him and call on Him for aid.
Amen.
