The Brew: Irish Eyes are Smiling? American Ears are Cringing at New Dylan Mulvaney Single

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!

Let’s tip a glass of green Brew.

A quick question to start the morning: If you kiss the Blarney Stone, do you have to ask its consent? Asking for a V.A. official friend.

Pop Star Gives Morning-After Pills to Audience

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo is selling death on her current tour. The Gen-Z fav is handing out β€œmorning after” pills called β€œJulie” to audience members in a bid for women and underage girls to have β€œreproductive health freedom” β€” which ultimately means β€œabortion, abortion, abortion.”

Rodrigo told her fans via Tik Tok, “For the North American leg of the tour, I’ll be partnering with the National Network of Abortion Funds to help those impacted with health care barriers to get the reproductive health care they deserve.”

A generation ago people said, β€œYou gotta fight for your right to party!” Now they’re singing, β€œYou’ve got to fight for your right to kill the unborn.” Or perhaps the more fitting parallel is that we’ve gone from Madonna’s line in “Papa, Don’t Preach” of β€œI’ve made up my mind, I’m keeping my baby” to β€œjust get rid of that parasite.”

If you didn’t already think pop music was lurching further toward the pit of hell, here’s another tidbit for you …

Dylan Mulvaney Releases New Single, “Days of Girlhood”

Trans influencer and destroyer of beer brands Dylan Mulvaney has released a new single. It’s not half bad; it’s entirely bad. Not only is it possibly the most grating thing to hit the ears since Rebecca Black’s β€œFridays,” but Mulvaney manages to offend womanhood to a degree the most misogynist rapper or heavy metal god can only dream of. The tune β€” or should I say β€œautotune” β€” is called β€œDays of Girlhood.”

The Blaze’s Lauren Chen won’t have this one on repeat. “Every part of “girlhood” that Dylan Mulvaney imitates is an offensive stereotype. Stupidity, promiscuity, emotional instability, materialism. His entire persona is a modern-day minstrel show, and women are the butt of the joke.”

We’re not just going to cover our ears or sprinkle holy water on our screens. The Stream’s Tom Gilson will use the video in a rather brilliant way early next week to prove that β€œtrans women” are men β€” men who enjoy the thought of doing β€œwomen things.” Keep an eye out for that.

Hat in Hand to Iran, Back of the Hand for Israel

Two stories involving Iran and the White House popped up in the ol’ news feed yesterday. Or is it really one story?

Headline One: β€œBiden Administration Secretly Asked Iran to Pressure Houthis Into Stopping Red Sea Attacks: Report.”

Headline Two: β€œBiden Admin Renews Iran Sanctions Waiver That Unlocks Upwards of $10 Billion for Regime.”

Iran funds and supplies the Houthis and, according to the administration itself, is β€œdeeply involved” in Houthi operations.

Houthis cause havoc in the Red Sea region with proxy attacks against Iran’s foes, including the United States.

Rather than punish Iran, Biden secretly goes hat in hand to the nation via back channels in Oman, asking its leaders to tell their pals to knock it off. It is unknown whether Biden’s envoys said β€œpretty please,” but we can guess snickering Iran’s response: β€œWhat’s in it for us?”

Next thing you know, Biden will free up another $10 billion for Iran. Perhaps it’s just coincidence.

In any event, keep an eye out for Joe Biden’s new ghostwritten book, The Art of the Beg.

Meanwhile, six Americans are still believed to be held hostage by another of Iran’s proxies, Hamas.

And what are the White House and Democratic leaders doing? Putting intense heat on Israel. The latest? Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer took to the Senate floor Thursday to call for new elections in Israel to remove Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring him an β€œobstacle to peace.”

Schumer went beyond election interference in his remarks. He said that if Israel doesn’t remove Netanyahu, the United States would play β€œa more active role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage to change the present course.”

On October 7, Hamas decapitated little children, cooked others alive in ovens, and murdered hundreds of people, and Hamas has been using rape as a routine weapon of war. But by all means, let’s have the White House and Democrats bend to pro-Hamas demonstrators on our own soil if it means keeping Michigan and Minnesota from flipping red in November.

Unexpected Squeeze on Wallet: Inflation Up More Than Expected

Those green beers or bagels are going to cost a bit more this St. Paddy’s Day weekend. Wholesale inflation β€œunexpectedly” rose last month. The producer price index jumped 0.6 percent in February over January, the Labor Department announced Thursday. On an annual basis, Fox Business reports, β€œprices remain up 1.6 percent β€” the highest since September 2023.”

LSEG economists were predicting a 0.3 percent rise and 1.1 percent annual figure.

Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen expressed regrets Wednesday for saying in 2021 that inflation would be β€œtransitory.” She added that the road to reducing inflation may continue to be bumpy.

But don’t worry. Biden said Wednesday, β€œWe have among the lowest rates of inflation of any country in America.”
