Donald Trump to Be Arraigned Live in Living Color Today in Fulton County

How many millions of dollars will the Trump campaign raise tonight from merchandise featuring his mug shot? Will it be a smile or a glare? 

Former President Donald Trump is turning himself in today in Fulton County. Trump will be booked— mug shot and all — and arraigned in a televised extravaganza … all for challenging an election in a county whose elections have been so screwed up the state wanted to put them in receivership. It’ll be the first of Trump’s four indictments to be televised after the judge agreed to allow cameras in the courtroom. Did the O.J. trial’s Judge Ito not teach this judge anything? 

Any guesses on which cable news hosts will get choked up with joy watching the proceedings? 

Trump is presenting today’s arrest as a badge of honor, writing on Truth Social, “Nobody has ever fought for election integrity like President Donald J. Trump. For doing so, I will proudly be arrested tomorrow afternoon in Georgia. God bless the United States of America.”

 

Trump lawyers such ase John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis and Rudy Giuliani have already turned themselves in. Really think about that. Lawyers are being arrested for representing and advising their client. In America.

Meanwhile, in another story from our “Getting Rid of Our Political Opposition File”: Wagner Group mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was killed yesterday in the crash of a business jet outside Moscow. His death comes mere months after Prigozhin led a brief mutiny against Vladimir Putin over the handling of the Ukraine war. Good luck finding someone who thinks this death was an accident.

Thank goodness we don’t live in a country where the leader hunts down and tries to destroy those who pose a threat to his power.

The first GOP Debate was held last night in Milwaukee … at the same time the Donald Trump-Tucker Carlson interview was airing.

He injured his Achilles tendon playing basketball Tuesday night and was taken to the ER. For a while it looked like he would not be able to participate in the debate. But he gutted it out, crutches and all.

Victory for Life: South Carolina Supreme Court Reverses Course, Affirms Protection for Unborn at Six Weeks

Declaring “the State has a compelling interest in protecting the lives of unborn children,” South Carolina’s Supreme Court has upheld a law banning abortions after six weeks. This is a flip from its January decision that the law was unconstitutional. Adjustments were made to the law and this time it passed legal muster.

Bank of America Shuts the Accounts of a Christian Charity. Why?

Bank of America has shut down the accounts of Memphis-based Indigenous Advance Ministries. The ministry with Ugandan ministries to provide support for orphaned and vulnerable children and prisoners. Why?  According to the first notice, B of A declared “Upon review of your accounts, we have determined you’re operating in a business type we have chosen not to service at Bank of America.” A Christian charity? That type of business type? When Indigenous Advance Ministries appealed, all they got back was the exact same answer. They believe they were debanked over their “religious views.”

Alliance Defending Freedom has gotten involved, writing the Tennessee Attorney General to investigate whether the debanking was due to religious discrimination. The ministry is strongly pro-life and traditional marriage.

BofA insisted to the Daily Mail “religious beliefs are not a factor in any account-closing decision.” They tell the Daily Mail the debanking is connected to debt collection services offered by an offshoot of the ministry.
