A day where Irish eyes are smiling, and everyone’s Irish.

A day when Andrew Cuomo pinches women and says, “I thought it was tradition!”

This morning, I’d like to recall a favorite Irish saying: “You gotta try Aunt Peggy’s Irish soda bread.”

Or maybe it was:

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow.
May the soft winds freshen your spirit.
May the sunshine brighten your heart
May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you.
And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.

Biden Bucks From China … and Beyond

Here’s one thing we know about this St. Patrick’s Day. If you run into a Biden when ordering up a Guinness, make sure he picks up the tab.

The House Oversight Committee has gotten access to the records of a bank doing business with the Bidens. Wednesday, news broke that shortly after Biden left the VP gig in 2017, a Chinese energy company connected to the CCP, called “CEFC,” popped a cool $3 million into the account of Biden financial partner Rob Walker. Walker then wired $1.065 million to a company controlled by a Hunter business partner heavily involved in Biden family international dealings. Another $1.065 million was wired over three months to different bank accounts of Biden family members. (As if the dough were being split three ways, RedState notes.)

Thursday we learned who: Hunter Biden, Joe’s brother James Biden, Hallie Biden — widow of son Beau, mistress of Hunter. And the fourth? Just identified as “Biden.”

Does the company CEFC sound familiar? That was the company Hunter was working a deal out with business partner Tony Bobulinski. The deal where The Big Guy was going to get a 10% cut. Bobulinski testifies that he is 100% certain, after meeting with Joe and Hunter, that Joe Biden is The Big Guy.

It’s not just China. Oversight Chairman James Comer told Just the News they’ve uncovered “over a dozen accounts” tied to the Biden family through which money flowed. The fact that the money was coming into accounts of people like Hallie Biden makes Comer suspicious.

I don’t know if any of these business deals ever lasted. I mean, they were all scams and schemes and failures. So why would people continue to send this family massive amounts of money? Because they don’t have any expertise. Were they getting something in return? If so, then Joe Biden would be the primary suspect, because I don’t think that Hunter Biden or Jim Biden, or any of the family members of the Biden family can actually do something on behalf of the government. But Joe Biden could, and that’s why we’re investigating this.

The take-away? “It’s getting very close to Joe Biden.”

Can You Try to Take This Serious?

A U.S. drone went down into the Baltic Sea after a Russian jet fighter dumped fuel on it, and struck its propeller.

The Pentagon released the video of the incident Thursday.

Though dumping fuel to disable a drone seems like a Top Gun knock off stunt, it is still a big deal when two nuclear powers that are already inching closer to open war start knocking each other’s stuff out of the sky.

You’ve also got the Russian Navy on the scene trying to get the drone. And that could lead to trouble. This guy knows … .

Unfortunately, it seems some of the top U.S. brass aren’t taking this drone downing seriously. No, we don’t want an over-reaction. But check this comment from James B. Hecker, commander, U.S. Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa:

Several times before the collision, the Su-27s dumped fuel on, and flew in front of the MQ-9 in a reckless, environmentally unsound and unprofessional manner. This incident demonstrates a lack of competence in addition to being unsafe and unprofessional.

Environmentally unsound? Really?! That’s your take away, Commander? God help the Russians if the pilot used the wrong pronoun.

This one from Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder, echoed by General Mark Milley and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, is also a headscratcher … if you think about it. Emphasis ours:

“We do not seek conflict with Russia, we do not seek escalation with Russia and so we’re going to continue to stay focused on our primary mission in the Ukraine area.” … Which is to equip Ukraine with billions in weapons so it can kill Russians.

“Hey Mom! I’m an Irish Unicorn!”

I would love to know how my mom would have responded to this. Minnesota’s Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan was riffing on her support for “gender affirming care” for children — which is a euphemism for mutilating and sterilizing our kids.

She then declared, “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”
