The Brew: Families in Ministry, Families in Crime
Happy Monday!
And an exciting week this is going to be. This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we are joining in a remarkable celebration of a remarkable couple, Stream founder James Robison and wife Betty. Theyβre holding a conference commemorating their 60 years of ministry and 60 years of marriage. Yeah. Wow. The event is called Legacy60. Stay tuned for happenings from the conference, memories from their world-changing missions, and more.
While we celebrate James and Betty’s 60 years serving together in ministry, our hearts turn to a young couple serving in the field together in Haiti.
Praying for Safe Return of Nurse Doing Missions Work Kidnapped in Haiti β¦ as State Dept. Urges Americans to Leave
Nurse Alix Dorsainvil and her child were kidnapped Thursday near the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince. The New Hampshire native and her husband Sandro live in Haiti doing mission work through their charity El Roi Haiti. Sandro confirmed the kidnapping in a statement.
Haiti has been descending into chaos and civil strife. The country has become so dangerous the State Dept. on Thursday issued a level-4 travel advisory, telling Americans to stay away, and calling for all non-emergency U.S. government personnel in the country to leave, due to “kidnapping, crime, civil unrest, and poor health care infrastructure.”

Said her husband Sandro:
We continue to trust in Jesus Christ who is faithful, even in these very difficult circumstances. We are asking people to pray and cry out to Him, that He would hold our friends safely in His hands and place a hedge of protection around them as He makes their path straight back to us and to freedom.
Please join us praying for Alix and her childβs safe and immediate return, others who may be targeted and for the people of Haiti.
And let us also add a special prayer this week for all husbands and wives called to serve together in ministry.
Bidenβs Finally Acknowledge Granddaughter Navy
After four years of ignoring her existence, Joe and Jill Biden finally acknowledged their 7th grandchild, Navy.
βOur son Hunter and Navyβs mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward. This is not a political issue, itβs a family matter. Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy. ”
Until Friday, Biden had never publically acknowledged Navy, always talking about his six grandchildren, even insisting that staffers never count Navy. At Christmas, they hung a stocking for each grandchild, but Navy. They even hung one for the dog that we now know was repeatedly biting the Secret Service agents.
What changed? The heat on Joe. Even liberal New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd shredded the Bidenβs earlier this month for their treatment of the little girl. βItβs Seven Grandkids, Mr. President.β
Plus, itβs kind of hard to sell the media talking point that Republicans are investigating Biden because he loves his son, when heβs treating his sonβs daughter so coldly.
Former Hunter Business Partner and BFF Devon Archer Set to Testify Today
Today could be the day that makes an impeachment inquiry inevitable. Hunter Bidenβs former business partner and BFF, Devon Archer is expected to testify behind closed doors today before the House Oversight Committee. Archer can put Joe Biden in the room and on the phone dozens of times with Hunterβs foreign business interests, including when he was Vice President. He knows how Hunter structured his businesses and ran money through shell companies. He will also reportedly confirm that Joe Biden is, in fact, “The Big Guy.”
Potentially most damaging, according to the New York Post, Archer will detail then-Vice President Bidenβs involvement in meetings with Burisma honchos. Meetings where Hunter tells his father Burisma needs βour support.β Support that would be provided only a few months later when Biden got Burismaβs prosecutor fired. Support that, according to a confidential human source close to Burismaβs owner, came at a price of $10 million paid to Joe and Hunter.
That’s bribery, one of the crimes specifically mentioned in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment.

In advance of Archer’s testimony, the DOJ appears to be putting on the squeeze. The New York Post reports that on Saturday, DOJ sent a letter to the judge presiding over a separate case involving Archer, pressuring the judge to set a date for the businessman report to prison. NY Post headline: “DOJ tries to jail key Hunter Biden witness Devon Archer on eve of congressional testimony.” Perhaps the timing is coincidental.
Archer’s lawyers insist their client will not be deterred from testifying today.
Several Members of Congress, including Matt Gaetz and Chip Roy are calling for lawmakers to return to DC to hold immediate emergency hearings to investigate this potential effort of the DOJ to interfere with Congressional oversight.

Former President Trump Says Heβll Still Run, Even If Imprisoned
In the wake of Special Counsel Jack Smith throwing more classified documents-related charges on him, Donald Trump insisted that even prison wonβt stop his march to the White House. Trump told radio host John Frederickβs βIf convicted and sentenced, I will continue to run for president β¦ and win!β

Well, if Biden could run in 2020 while locked in a basement ⦠Seriously, between Biden and Trump, we are looking at the strangest election in our lifetime⦠and most potentially dangerous since 1860.
Speaking of dangerous elections, Democratic candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is speaking out after DHS refused to grant him Secret Service protection. After numerous requests were ignored, Homeland Security chief Alexandro Mayorkas finally notified RFK Jr. that protection is βnot warranted at this time.β Donβt immediately jump to: βThey donβt want to protect Bidenβs rival!β Secret Service doesnβt usually offer protection this far out from an election.
Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. Β But not me.
Β
Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days.  After 88-days of no response and after several⦗ Robert F. Kennedy Jr (@RobertKennedyJr) July 28, 2023
Still, as Kennedy noted, it was the assassination of his own father that prompted the Secret Service to start offering protection to major candidates. Plus, a controversial Kennedy on the campaign trail might prove too tempting for the crazies. We predict RFK, Jr. will get Secret Service protection earlier than most β¦ and no one will fret it.
Tim Tebow Launches New Effort to Stop Child Sex Trafficking: “UnKNOWN.”
Sunday was World Day Against Human Trafficking. Tim Tebow used the occasion to launch a new campaign against child sex trafficking, called “UnKNOWN.” Tebow’s foundation has been fighting trafficking for a decade, helping build nearly two dozen safe houses. But he and his wife felt led to go bigger, telling Fox News Digital, “We’re called to do it for a lot longer β¦ . This is just something that’s so personal to us. Every one of these lives that we know we’re called to help is infinitely valuable to God, we believe β and they better be to us.”
Why UnKNOWN? In honor of the 50,000 (at least) unknown victims of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), whose images of abuse, rape and torture haunt the web.
“That’s why we have called this βunKNOWN,” says Tebow. “Because we believe that every single one of those boys and girls are known to God β and it is worth us doing anything and everything possible so that they’re known, so that they’re located, so that they’re cared for and rescued, so that they can have the love that they deserve.”
