Today marks the remembrance of the Last Supper, when Jesus established Holy Communion. “Maundy” is from the Latin mantadum or “command.” It also marks the night Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 coins of silver.

Let’s start with a betrayal of Christians, who are being similarly sold out.

Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Votes to Make This Easter Sunday “Trans Visibility Day”

A Virginia county near the District of Columbia has decided to slap Christians in the face this Easter. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted last week to make the holiest day on the Christian calendar “Trans Visibility Day.” As a Washington Examiner op-ed points out, it’s not like transgender people aren’t visible in Fairfax County, which already celebrates LGBT Pride Month and LGBTQ History Month, and many classrooms are draped in rainbow flags. Soon Virginia will have more trans visibility than it does lovers.

The op-ed author, local mom Stephanie Lunquist-Aora, explains, “Members of the board are also sending a message to Christians that they do not matter as they turn one of their holiest days into a celebration of an ideology that undermines the Church’s core convictions.”

What you’ll hear in response is that Trans Visibility Day is always commemorated on March 31. But it didn’t even exist until 2010, meaning “always” is hardly the case. Why would anyone care if you held the event on a Saturday or a Monday this year? To actually vote for yet another day to celebrate transgenderism specifically on Easter isn’t about inclusion; it’s mockery. It’s Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence hiding behind government bureaucracy.

How About an “All-Ages Drag Show” for Church on Easter Sunday?

Indeed, a church in Canada might as well be run by Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence themselves.

The Calgary Unitarian Church is hosting an “all-ages” drag show on Easter. The service (in the service of whom?) is called “DRAG Me to Church: What Does TRANSformation mean today?” The invitation describes the event as a “sacred act of protest.” This, on Resurrection Sunday. Who are they protesting against?

How About Recruiting Pilots to Fly Minors to States That Allow Their Mutilation?

Here’s one that proves the trans activists are a few blades short of a propeller.

This is from the “Women in Aviation Conference” in Orlando. There was a booth where pilots can sign up to fly adolescents to undergo s*x change surgeries or get puberty blockers.

This is how desperate they are to trans kids.

Stories like this remind us why Jesus is Jesus and we’re not. We’ll leave it to Him to mete out the justice.

M-S-N-Boo-Hoo: NBC News Boots Ronna McDaniel After Anchors Pitch Fit

Just days after being hired as a contributor, former Republican National Committee head Ronna McDaniel was let go by NBC News. What did she do wrong? Her presence upset the delicate souls of NBC News staffers and fading MSNBC stars like Rachel Maddow, Chuck Todd, and Joe Scarborough. They simply wanted no part of any Republican who doesn’t loath Donald Trump or who, like a majority of Americans, thinks the 2020 election was kinda fishy. Never mind that MAGA World has no great love for Ronna and celebrated her ouster from the RNC. Never mind that having strong opposing voices makes for better programming and higher ratings on any channel.

For all their childish reactions, it seems NBC’s staffers might as well have accused McDaniel of having cooties.

“No organization, particularly a newsroom, can succeed unless it is cohesive and aligned,” NBCU News Group Chair Cesar Conde told staff, according to The Hill. “Over the last few days, it has become clear that this appointment undermines that.”

Aligned? This is an open admission by NBC that its news room is not interested in balance and facts, let alone the views of a majority of Americans. Rather, it is a propaganda operation beholden to the Democratic regime.

C’mon. If you are scared of Ronna McDaniel, good grief.

We are particularly reminded of today’s lack of civility for those with opposing views with the passing of former U.S. senator and 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Lieberman. The genial politician who was friend to Democrats and Republicans alike passed away Wednesday after suffering a fall. He was 82. Tributes to his bipartisan spirit flowed all evening. May recalling his life bring some of his manner back to Capitol Hill.

Real Housewives Dumps Black Woman Who Supports Trump

The Real Housewives reality-show empire condones all sorts of batty, bratty, violent, and trashy behavior. But it apparently cannot handle a woman of color who openly supports Donald Trump. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reportedly has dumped Annemarie Wiley, allegedly over her pro-Trump beliefs and support for her husband’s opposition to transgender athletes.

According to the Daily Mail, Wiley was let go for “clashing” with other housewives over politics. Have you ever watched Real Housewives? The whole point is for the women to clash. Catfights are to Real Housewives what tackling is to the NFL. But the Daily Mail reports producers cut out all the political arguments Wiley got into and are now sending her packing.

To Hollywood, a conservative black woman is more dangerous than ISIS, and diversity of thought is a four-letter word.

How About That? The World Really Is Spinning Faster!

Who among us, battling information overload every day, hasn’t felt recently that the world is spinning faster and faster? Turns out it wasn’t our imagination. According to the Associated Press, Planet Earth has sped up enough that scientists are considering taking a second off the world’s clocks for the first time in history.

A study published in the journal Nature Wednesday reveals we may need this “negative leap second” by 2029. Oddly enough, for years Earth was slowing down to the point that leap seconds have routinely been added. But over the past few years, the speed increased. The study’s lead author, University of California, San Diego geophysicist Duncan Agnew, blames the earth’s molten core, which ebbs and flows in erratic ways. (And here we were ready to blame TikTok.)
