The Brew: All The Presidents’ Messes … and a Sound of Freedom Sequel?
Happy Tuesday!
Todayβs Brew opens with what we like to call βAll the Presidentsβ Messesβ
Trump and a Gaggle of Associates Indicted by Fulton County for Challenging Georgia Election Results. (Yes, the Same State Where Stacy Abrams Challenged Georgia Election Results.)
A Grand Jury in Fulton County, Georgia has indicted former President Donald Trump and over a dozen associates, including many of his lawyers, for challenging the results of the 2020 Election in the Peach State. The charges do line up with what was posted earlier on Fulton County’s website before the Grand Jury had even voted.
They include violating the Georgia RICO Actβthe Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations Act; Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Impersonating a Public Officer; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Conspiracy to Commit False Statements and Writings; Conspiracy to Commit Filing False Documents; Conspiracy to Commit Forgery in the First Degree; Filing False Documents; and Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer.
D.A. Willis also plans to charge Trump for being complicit in that night that the lights went out in Georgia.
Fulton County Posts β¦ Then Deletes and Calls βFictitiousβ β¦ Charges Against Trump Even Before Grand Jury Vote
Fulton County was so eager for Donald Trumpβs hide that it posted charges against him on a public website before its Grand Jury on the matter had even voted. Can anyone say βtainted juryβ? βFailure of due processβ? βClown show?β Plenty of people are. The posting was quickly deleted and Fulton County clerk released a statement calling the documents βfictitious.β Documents that were put on the countyβs official website? Sure. And Georgia was never on Ray Charlesβ mind.
The βfictitiousβ charges are in line with what has been reported. According to Reuters:
The two-page document cites the “Violation Of The Georgia Rico (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act,” “Solicitation Of Violation Of Oath By Public Officer,” “Conspiracy To Commit False Statements and Writings” and “Conspiracy To Commit Forgery in the First Degree,” among other charges listed.
I write more on this incident in βFulton County Bluesβ β¦ which also deals with a leak to CNN about Trumpβs team being invited into Coffee County to try and show how vulnerable the election systems were down there. In fact, we repost the video of the then-Coffee County election supervisor showing how easily the ballots could be manipulated. This same woman is now in the crosshairs of the D.A. targeting Trump. This political plot twisting would give even Brad Thor a headache.
Former FBI Agent Testifies that Biden Transition Team was Tipped Off to Planned Hunter Interview
The IRS and FBI folks investigating Hunter Biden wanted to spring an interview on him. However, the plan to approach Hunter fell apart when Biden was tipped off. A former FBI Supervisory Special Agent testified to Congress in July that the tip went to Joe Bidenβs transition team and the Secret Service. His testimony β the transcript of which was released Monday β confirms that of IRS Whistleblower Craig Shapley. The agent, whose name has been redacted, said he and IRS investigators were ordered to stand down, to wait for Hunter to call them to arrange an interview. They were not to approach the house. The call never came and the investigators never got to interview Hunter about his assorted business schemes and tax issues.
The agent does not know why the Secret Service or the transition team was notified, nor does he know who in FBI headquarters made that decision.
Movies Mixing With Politics: Disney Star Disses Original Snow White Again
βHeigh-Ho, Heigh Ho. Itβs off to woke we go β¦ β
Once again, the star of Disneyβs upcoming live action Snow White is trashing the pioneering Disney animated classic. Rachel Zegler says of the 1937 film, βThereβs a big focus on her love story with guy who basically stalks her.β
It just gets worse and worse….
The new Snow White says that the Prince was a creepy stalker and suggests that all scenes of the Prince could be cut

Thank you, Babylon Bee for the perfect response. (And thank you, Gayle, for catching it.)

If youβre a movie producer of some movie, would you hire Zegler? Wouldnβt you be worried sheβll say or do something to undercut your movie? Create bad P.R.? Then again, the fact that co-star Gal Gadot is saying some similar things about the original Snow White movie suggests this is a deliberate line Disney is taking.
Trashing their own film β¦ and thus, the loyal fan base that film helped create for Disney.
Which makes me wonder. Are we dealing with a Bud Light situation where the person in charge of marketing has a distaste for the people loyal to the brand and wants to βupdateβ the brand image? We see how well that worked for Bud Light.
In any event, what a shame. Disney used to be so protective of Snow White they kept on the down low that they had brought in a new official voice for the character after the original actress’s voice started faltering in her old age. Now theyβre letting the new face of Snow White kick dirt all over her.
Sound of Freedom Actor Running for President of Mexico? Sure Acting Like It
Sound of Freedom star and producer Eduardo Verastegui is running for president of Mexico. Heβs released a video announcing his plans and reasoning. He’s running on the “Annoyingly Good Looking” ticket.

Verastegui said after last monthβs release of the film he was mulling a run.
Actors as presidents is nothing new at this point. Youβve got Ronald Reagan, Volodymyr Zelensky and whoeverβs playing Joe Biden. (Just joking. Was reminded today of the movie Dave and couldnβt help but go there.)
But wait! Thereβs more Sound of Freedom news. Can anyone say βsequelβ? Writer-director Alejandro Monteverde told Variety that heβs in discussions about writing a sequel to the film which would focus on child trafficking in Haiti.
