The Brew: 6 Pro-Life Demonstrators Convicted … for Praying and Singing Outside Abortion Mill
Plus, Rip Curl surfer wear faces the Bud Light treatment for casting off surf legend Bethany Hamilton for transgender competitor.
Itβs Wednesday morning. The sun is about to rise, God is on His throne and the Brew is freshly percolating.
We start with the fight for life, and the campaign against those who defend the unborn.
6 Pro-Life Demonstrators Found Guilty, Could Face 11 Years
Six pro-life demonstrators have been found guilty in a Federal court under the FACE Act for peacefully demonstrating outside a Nashville abortion mill in March of 2021. The six now face as much as 11 years in prison. Thomas More Society, which represented defendant Paul Vaughn, vows an appeal.
βWe are, of course, disappointed with the outcome,β stated Steve Crampton, Thomas More Society Senior Counsel. βThis was a peaceful demonstration by entirely peaceable citizens β filled with prayer, hymn-singing, and worship β oriented toward persuading expecting mothers not to abort their babies. Unfortunately, the Biden Department of Justice decided to characterize Paul Vaughnβs peaceful actions as a felony βconspiracy against rights,β to intimidate and punish Paul and other pro-life people and people of faith.β
This is a clip of what the defendants were doing that day.
BREAKING: Six pro-life activists were just found guilty in federal court after being prosecuted by Biden's DOJ under the FACE Act for protesting outside a Nashville abortion clinic.
Here's a snippet of the protest, which occurred on March 5, 2021.

As you can see, they are torching the place, throwing bricks and spray painting vulgar slurs and threats. … Wait, no. That was the domestic terrorists who have been attacking churches and pro-life pregnancy centers since word of Roe being overturned was leaked β¦ without punishment or pursuit.
The six who were convicted were praying and singing hymns. And after the verdict, they came out of the courthouse β¦ and again prayed and sang hymns.

Had they tried burning down the federal court, like BLM and Antifa spend their summers doing, theyβd be getting checks from Kamala Harris.
Speaking of Harris, whose Justice Department is executing the persecution of pro-life demonstrators, sheβs again out there peddling abortion with the same glee she shows yellow school buses.
1 in 3 women of reproductive age live in a state with an abortion ban in effect.
Reproductive care clinics have closed across our nation. Women are being denied care and doctors are being criminalized.
This is a health care crisis.

How is it reproductive care when the goal is exterminating reproduction? Itβs like calling fratricide βBrotherly Love.β
Standing Tall: Surf Great Bethany Hamilton Blasts Rip Curl for Hiring Trans Surfer After Dropping Her
Surfing champ Bethany Hamilton literally gave an arm for her sport. Yet, for giving a darn about preserving the integrity of surfing, she was dropped by surfing apparel brand Rip Curl. Hamilton had blasted the inclusion of males in female competitions and was giving up competitive surfing as a result. So what did Rip Curl do? Heed the warning of surfing’s most inspirational figure? No, they went full Bud Light. Rip Curl started featuring as part of their βMeet the Locals Campaignβ an Aussie surfer, Ryan Egan, who until 2019 competed as a man, but now competes as a βwomanβ named Sasha Lowerson. The spread includes Lowerson in a white two-piece bathing suit.
Hamilton doubled down on X Monday: βMale-bodied athletes should not be competing in female sports. Period. Itβs not fair, and I canβt support it. Iβve worked so hard, and to imagine competing against a male just sounds terrible. β¦ I need to stand up for the next generation of girls pushing surfing forward. I want the best for them.β
She wasnβt the only one. Riley Gaines joined the chorus blasting Rip Curl.
You mean to tell me @ripcurl dropped Bethany Hamilton for opposing men surfing in the women's league then picked up male surfer who surfs in the women's league as a women's ambassador?

The outcry seems to have worked. For now. The Daily Signal reports Rip Curl has taken images of Lowerson off its website.
Trump Nominated Again for the Nobel Prize
Blessed are the peacemakers … perhaps with a trip to Sweden.
Former President Donald Trump has been nominated again for the Nobel Peace Prize for his historic Abraham Accords. The Abraham Accords brought peace deals between Israel and several Arab nations in the Middle East. This is actually the third time he has been nominated, though so far, of course, heβs been the Susan Lucci of Nobel Prizes.
Both Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton earned the Nobel Prize for the peace treaties they worked out between Israel and Egypt and Jordan respectively. (And Barack Obama won for β¦ uh, basically just showing up.) So if his name wasnβt Trump, heβd already have it in the bag. Or, more likely, displayed in grand fashion at Mar-a-Lago. But who knows, with so much trouble now in the Middle East, perhaps this will be the year.
Then again, some politics is being played here. Unlike his first two nominations, which came from overseas, this time Trump was nominated by Republican congresswoman Claudia Tenney. And just days after our soldiers were killed in the Middle East. Her statement about it includes a dig at Biden. Oh, and when do they announce the winner? In October. Just in time for the election.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden says he has decided on a response to Iran in wake of the fatal weekend drone attack. What will it be? As of this writing, we do not know, but a U.S. official told ABC News, “These are going to be very deliberate targets — deliberate strikes on facilities that enabled these attacks” on American forces.
We pray for the safety of the service members involved in any action and those others in the region.
