Porter, a WWII veteran and dedicated Swift fan, has seen the country-turned-pop star twice in concert. She puts on a show no one else puts on,” he told Ozarks First. Her music has also helped him bond with his more than 20 grandchildren.
Porter’s appreciation for Swift first made headlines shortly before Christmas. On December 23, Ozarks First quoted Porter saying that he hoped to see Swift live one more time. Playing Santa, Swift made sure that wish come true.
