Kelly Shackelford: If the Supreme Court Rules against Marriage, a ‘Tsunami is Coming’
The president of Liberty Institute says a pending Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage could bring a tidal wave of trouble to churches and ministries.
Kelly Shackelford, President and CEO of Liberty Institute, sat down this week with Randy Robison to discuss the Supreme Court’s pending decision on same-sex marriage. Shackelford says that if the High Court creates a new right for homosexual unions, churches and Christian ministries that hold to a biblical view of marriage will be facing a “tsunami” of legal and financial problems.
As he explains in the interview, the threat is real: the Obama Administration’s Solicitor General admitted as much during oral arguments before the Supreme Court.
