A great many women in America are embarrassingly foolish.

There. I said it. Let’s get the feathers good and ruffled right out of the gate.

Here’s a really dumb idea: Let’s elect a totally unqualified woman as president simply because she’s a woman. Yay!

The fact that Kamala Harris is a woman is irrelevant. It makes her neither more or less worthy of votes. As a woman, I could not possibly care any less. I can’t think of a more empty-headed reason to vote for any woman than because she’s a woman.

It hardly speaks well of women to know they will eagerly elevate to a position of authority and power another woman who has no business being in such a position, simply because she’s a woman. Sadly, it lends terrible weight to the notion that women’s emotions supersede their brains.

What’s Her Record?

Harris has never demonstrated any reasonable ability to handle the demands of the presidency. There is no logical reason anyone should evaluate her as a candidate and decide that she is fit for the task. She has no impressive record of political or diplomatic or even business accomplishments.

She’s an attorney, with experience using her power to go after the enemies of her friends.

Do not forget that when Planned Parenthood’s gruesome business of harvesting and selling babies’ organs was exposed for all to see, Kamala Harris protected Planned Parenthood and went after David Daleiden for showing the world the hideous truth behind the abortion giant’s clinical curtain.

Do not forget that for the last four years, Harris has known perfectly well how perfectly unwell Joe Biden really is. She, along with so many others, lied to the nation and orchestrated the greatest cover-up scheme in our history. Why is she excused from responsibility for this?  Why on earth would any sane voter believe anything this woman says? For all the regurgitated accusations of Trump “lying” to Americans, there’s no escaping the fact that Harris has participated in the Great Lie every single day of Biden’s administration.

Now she and her party wish to simply wave their hands and wipe away all memory of the last four years, and astonishingly, a lot of women are smiling stupidly and saying, “Okay! Let’s go! Wow, Kamala Harris, she’s so awesome!! I’m feeling the joy!”

Lies Upon Lies

Do not forget that until about 15 minutes ago, the widely accepted joke in politics was that Harris was Biden’s “presidential insurance policy.” No one wanted to think about Harris becoming president, so that gave Joe security no matter what he said or did. He was better than the possibility of her.

With Biden’s incompetence impossible to conceal any longer, he must get out of the way. So… poof! It’s magic! And now Harris is the dream candidate who is suddenly empowered with fantastical gifts who will lead us, with amazing leadership, to the bright future where all our troubles will vanish like bubbles. Joy, joy, joy!!

And women are falling for this — a candidate of pure theatrical invention. (I know, plenty of men are falling for it, too.) And it’s embarrassing.

It’s not about her gender. It’s about policy. It’s about actual experience and ability. It’s about past decisions and actions as a guide to what future decisions and actions might be in similar circumstances. It’s about having demonstrated a level head and willingness to sacrifice. It’s about wisdom, intelligence, and a more comprehensive view of life than simply individual rights.

I see none of those qualities in Harris. She is the most unserious, unqualified candidate of my lifetime. I would not want this woman in command of ordering lunch, let alone our military.

Real Policies with Real Effects

She has promised to enshrine unrestricted, legal abortion into federal law. She will assuredly advance all aspects of the rainbow sexual ideology. We should expect that she will take away parent’s rights to protect their children from mutilation and indoctrination. Children are just objects to be killed, mutilated, and used in whatever way suits the adults. Planned Parenthood understands this clearly. Why do you think they set up shop right outside the Democratic National Convention to offer vasectomies and abortions?

The totally failed Border Czar Who Wasn’t has suddenly turned herself into a border security hawk who will magically solve the horrific crisis she has enabled for nearly four years. Tell that to the families whose children have been brutally murdered by vicious monsters who should never have been able to set foot in our country in the first place.

I realize a lot of women are voting for Harris out of a blind hatred for Trump. They do not evaluate her inability at all because they simply have a seething hatred for Trump. This, again, is embarrassing. It’s an emotional response, not a rational one. They speak of Trump being “unfit” but cite no reason why Harris is fit. She’s simply not him, and that’s good enough.

But it’s not. It is idiotic.

This isn’t a popularity contest. This is about the future of our nation and our perilous present condition in the world. Kamala Harris is not fit to take on the presidency simply because she’s not the other guy.

It’s not time to “finally elect a woman.” When that day comes, it will only be momentous and noteworthy if the woman herself is worthy, capable, possessing the qualities and skill of a good leader. To waste the “first” on a woman of such dishonor and ineptitude as Kamala Harris would be unbearably embarrassing for women and the entire nation, for generations.
