RescueLIFE: Saving Those Lost in the Sex Trafficking Business

By Nancy Flory Published on October 13, 2018

Somewhere in Southeast Asia, four women hold up signs for free beer. Other women, in scant clothing, sit at store fronts waiting to be selected by a john. These aren’t ordinary prostitutes. These women are caught up in the business of sex trafficking. They all have one thing in common: an expression of pain on their faces. But with your help, that can change.

Saving the Lost

“Jesus is a people person,” said Sheila Walsh of LIFE Outreach International. “And Jesus said, ‘The Son of man has come to seek and to save those who are lost.'” Millions of women, girls and boys are current victims of sex trafficking. RescueLIFE works to lift these lost souls out of the seedy business, take them to a safe location and share the Gospel with them.

“Jesus’ message has not changed,” Walsh said. “He hears every voice in the middle of a noisy crowd. And He says, ‘bring them to me.’ And that’s what we’re doing. We want to bring them, one by one, to Jesus. And together, you and I can do that.”

This year the plan is to reach out to 2,500 children and young people who are daily being confronted with the horrors of human trafficking and slave trade.

Reach, Rescue and Restore

Donations to RescueLIFE allow mission workers to reach, rescue and restore victims of sex trafficking, and to keep those who aren’t involved already from becoming victims.
