Protect the Children Part 3: Three Things Your Local Public School May Be Teaching Your Children That You Don’t Want Them to Learn
This is Part 3 of a 14-part series on how to confront leftist indoctrination in your child’s school. If you want to be part of the parental revolution, this series will help you learn how to reorient school systems back toward biblical ethics to ensure our kids can safely learn, grow, and be nurtured in environments that prioritize knowledge over dogma, truth over lies, and virtue over vice.
As a parent or concerned citizen looking to engage your school board, you may be asking what exactly you’re supposed to be fighting. That’s okay. For those of you living out your daily lives, working a job (or two!) to put food on the table and keep a roof over your family’s head, serving your community and church, or focused on your family’s day-to-day development at home, it can be difficult to keep up with the latest terminology and cultural lingo.
At this point, a significant number of people have most certainly heard of Critical Race Theory (CRT for short) and have perhaps seen their kids encounter inappropriate material in the classroom. In this article, I’ll identify the radical ideologies that are corrupting kids and young adults into embracing neo-Marxist concepts explicitly aimed at rupturing the nuclear family, fraying the social fabric of our constitutional republic, and undermining the eternal truths embedded within the Judeo-Christian worldview.
The four primary concepts within the context of radical curricula and content in the K-12 school system are CRT, Radical Gender Theory (which includes grooming culture), and the practice of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Each one of these ideologies is designed to corrupt our children into a lifestyle or mindset that seeks to dissemble the true, the good, and the beautiful in our world.
What Is Critical Race Theory?
CRT is an offshoot of Critical Theory, a radical Marxist legal theory that first became popular in the United States during the mid-20th century.
Critical Theory challenges so-called “power structures” in society that allegedly stand in the way of “human liberation.” This ideology often views problems through various “systems” it wants to abolish. These systems are rooted in a concept known as “intersectionality” which creates hierarchies of alleged victims to determine which groups are the most “oppressed.” These Victim Olympics categorize people as “oppressed/marginalized” or as “oppressors” based on the particular power structure being discussed.

In the context of Critical Race Theory, the power structure being targeted is an alleged racial hierarchy. Minorities and non-white individuals are automatically categorized as “oppressed,” while white individuals are automatically characterized as “oppressors” based on the view that the existing power structure in America (and the West) is one that benefits only people with white skin.
If that sounds like the exact opposite of the unifying truth espoused in both the Declaration of Independence that “all men are created equal” and in Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech to judge people not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character, it’s only because it is. CRT is the very antithesis of the novel American idea that our rights come from our Creator and that every person has equal dignity and worth in the eyes of God. CRT views all of society explicitly through a divisive and destructive racial lens and says that “social justice” can only be achieved by abolishing the predominance of “whiteness.”
Like any Marxist belief, the solution is always to tear down the perceived “barriers” in the way of establishing a worldly utopia.
And one of those is you and your family: the mother, the father, the parent, or the guardian who has been tasked by God with the noble responsibility of nourishing and protecting your child’s soul with the things that are true and good. Removing your voice and your values is essential for CRT to succeed.
Don’t allow it.
What Is Radical Gender Theory?
This theory holds that biological sex is assigned at birth and is not an immutable characteristic. Rather, it is only a social construct, and gender is a potentially infinite spectrum. Like its destructive siblings, Radical Gender Theory is designed to challenge the societal “power structures” that stand in the way of “human liberation,” which in this case is the belief that systems exclusively benefit heterosexual males.
This paradigm not only pushes our children to embrace gender confusion divorced from biological reality — which could directly harm them physically through puberty blockers and surgical procedures — but also paves the way for adults to engage in conduct that grooms them for sexual contact.
The specific call to action is to affirm the self-described and “fluid” gender/sexual identity of an individual regardless of reality or basic biology to counterbalance the alleged harms of the existing heterosexual “power structure.”
The purpose is to tear down any societal norms or taboos surrounding sexual behavior. It is no coincidence, then, that this radical view has led to increasing attempts to normalize pedophilia as just another “sexual orientation” through the term “minor attracted person.”
When adults are telling our children there is no objective definition for a woman (there is: an adult human female) or a man (there is: an adult human male), then all truth has been abandoned in pursuit of the total deconstruction of society and reality itself — with the intended consequence being the erasure of all elements of morality. For a Christian, radical gender theory may well be the most potent weapon Satan has ever devised to achieve his hellish ends.

In the context of gender theory, the collateral damage of this destruction is almost always your child’s mind, body, and soul. The intentional confusion it sows is explicitly aimed at erasing the unique person God created and severing a child from his or her family. This is by creating a false identity to actively wage war on an individual’s family, beliefs, and support network. Sometimes, this results in the evisceration of a child’s body followed by the demand to affirm the new identity pushed onto the child.
This is the apotheosis of Critical Theory’s nihilistic ends to destroy and tear down everything good for the creation of a godless society with no boundaries, no norms — and ultimately, no meaning.
What Is DEI?
The creed of the zealous practitioner of CRT within our institutions (and potentially within your local school system), is that America is inherently racist. This means that any of the dominant societal traits or groups (especially those that stand in the way of radical revolution) are considered oppressive by woke religionists.
These entities of oppression include Christianity (and therefore your church), the nuclear family (and therefore your home), capitalism (and therefore your business or job), merit (and therefore hard work or opportunity), and representative government (and therefore your republic or freedoms).
In order for the secular, woke forces in your local school to successfully shape your children for future revolution to tear down these “oppressive” group power dynamics (including your own family), they need to maintain a constant physical presence around your children to indoctrinate them.
Enter the practice of DEI.
The best way to think about this is to view it as the bureaucracy that facilitates the promotion and practice of radical ideologies.
Because DEI is almost always evidenced by a specific bureaucracy, it is far easier to identify than CRT practices, which can be masked in classroom curricula. However, this is not a chicken-or-egg scenario: If your school has DEI infrastructure, then you can be certain Critical Theory and other divisive concepts are actively being taught in the classroom.
The presence of DEI infrastructure signals the need to take direct action to force the school board to eliminate these programs actively training children to become foot soldiers for the woke religion. If your school is using DEI policies, you should see it evidence of an intentional and sustained violation of the Civil Rights Act wherein your children are treated differently based on their race, ethnicity, or skin color. This recognition should serve as one of the primary angles of attack when confronting your school board.
All these radical ideologies are designed to destroy the good, the true, and the beautiful. In the minds of woke religionists, children’s innocence is just one of many things that must be sacrificed. You must oppose that with every ounce of strength and wisdom that you can muster.
Your family is at stake.
