Protect the Children Part 10: Still Keeping the Pressure on Your School Board
This is Part 10 of a 14-part series on how to confront leftist indoctrination in your childβs school. If you want to be part of the parental revolution, this series will help you learn how to reorient school systems back toward biblical ethics to ensure our kids can safely learn, grow, and be nurtured in environments that prioritize knowledge over dogma, truth over lies, and virtue over vice.
The extent to which you exert pressure on a school board to achieve a specific outcome depends on the scope of the issues of concern and the amount of resistance from the board. In general, you and your support network should take a multifaceted approach to pressuring a board to implement changes.
Your actions should have the net effect of shaming the board members into abandoning their acceptance of or support for the radical ideologies in the schools and win people over to your side.
Deliver your public remarks in the following format:
Identify the issue.
Explain why it is a problem.
Request specific actions to remedy it.
This format keeps you and your supporters focused on the mechanics of the delivery. It also conveys thoughtfulness and determination.
How to Talk About Your Concerns
Frame your concerns in moral terms. While this initiative is inherently political, part of your competitive advantage is articulating concerns through a Judeo-Christian prism instead of a culturally or politically conservative viewpoint. Consider emphasizing things in the following manner:
- βCritical Race Theory teaches our children to judge their friendsβ and classmatesβ value based on skin color. Do you support that?β
- βDEI forces faculty and staff to violate their colleaguesβ and studentsβ civil rights in the name of βequity.β It encourages stripping students of their individuality and categorizing them according to their alleged victimization. It tells our kids that their Creator values them more or less than others. Why would you willingly do that to our kids?β
- βQueer Theory confuses our children into believing they were born in the wrong body, that they can find their identity by mutilating themselves, and that having others affirm their self-harm is what will make them happy. Jesus said it would be better for those who willingly harm our children to have a millstone hung around their necks and be tossed to the bottom of the sea. Do you agree with Jesus that harming our kids is indeed that serious? If so, what are you going to do to stop this insanity?β
- βGrooming Culture lowers the inhibitions of innocent little children. It conditions them to accept the desires of adults who want to prey on their minds and bodies. You have a clear choice. Do you stand on the side of light? Will you act now to remove this filth from our schools? Or are you on the side of darkness? Will you choose to intentionally expose our children to explicit and predatory material?β
The open-ended question remains one of the most potent angles of attack for pressuring school boards. Often, board members remain silent during these public speeches. By asking rhetorical questions (followed by silence from the board), you shape the perception that they in fact do want to push these ideologies on your kids. The only way they show otherwise is to agree to parentsβ requests.
Removal
Pressure campaigns commonly result in board members silencing or removing parents and their supporters from meetings. This is good. This bears repeating: It is good if the board removes you for speaking out on behalf of children.

Removal signifies that the board cares more about their woke religion than the well-being of children under their care. This does more to generate support for your cause than anything else.
If you are removed by security or police officers, do not resist. Always respect law enforcement. Most just do their jobs, and many agree with you, given what they see on a daily basis in their profession. Continue to speak on the topic and continue to ask the board questions as you are being removed. Drive home the point that they are resorting to such drastic action to silence you. Use the opportunity to convey conviction and clarity for the cause of protecting kids.
Temperament
You should prepare to be kicked out of a meeting at the pressure level of interaction. Some tips for these kinds of interactions:
- Ask God to give you the patience and the wisdom to deliver your remarks in a persuasive fashion. We seek to be on His side.
- Mentally focus on your children or the kids in your community. We are doing this for our kids.
- Quietly remind yourself that your task is to deliver the message. The message is more important than the messenger. You serve a higher purpose.
- Breathe deeply and find someone in your support network that you can physically look at if you need to generate confidence or calmness. You are not alone.
Sustainment
It is imperative that you sustain the pressure until the board takes the actions necessary to resolve the issue of concern or it becomes clear that you should flip the board.
Keep gathering regularly with your support network and maintain a constant presence at school board meetings and local events.
The next article will address how to flip your school board.
