Praying for Todd: Sarah Palin Cancels Florida Event for Trump After Husband Injured in Crash
"Todd is our rock ... the toughest guy I know," Palin says in a Facebook post.
Todd Palin, the husband of Sarah Palin, was involved in a “very serious” snowmobile accident last night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care.
After a campaign event for Donald Trump in Florida, Palin cancelled the rest of her appearances and flew to Alaska to be with her husband. On the way, she posted a message on Facebook, sharing that he is recovering.
Todd is our rock… toughest guy I know. Thank you for your prayers as he recovers following a snow machine accident last night. You know, your prayers have meant so much to our family over the years and I’ve not thanked you enough for providing us that shield of faith.
She also recalled how “American Sniper” Chris Kyle had said of Palin, “He’s Rambo. Straight up Rambo.”
Todd Palin is a champion snowmobile racer, a four-time winner of Alaska’s Iron Dog race, described as the “World’s Longest, Toughest Snowmobile Race.” Just this past weekend, Bristol Palin posted pictures of her baby son’s first visit to her father’s Alaskan cabin.
The Trump campaign released a statement about the accident, saying “Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.” We join in those prayers.
