Planned Parenthood Kicks Off the New Year With Pro-Abortion License Plates
Pro-abortion advocates in Nebraska can now adorn their license plates with Planned Parenthood’s pro-choice slogan, “My Body, My Choice.”
Planned Parenthood’s license plates went on sale Monday and ring in the new year with the abortion giant’s reaffirmed determination to give abortion advocates more avenues to express their beliefs and garner laws in accordance with the beliefs, Omaha.com reports.

The motivation for creating the pro-abortion plates came largely as a response to Nebraska Gov. Pete Rickett’s reveal of “Choose Life” license plates for pro-life Nebraskans to sport. “Officials have a duty to stand up and be a voice for the unborn and most vulnerable,” Ricketts told reporters in the unveiling of the new plates. The pro-life initiative, however, didn’t escape a fight from abortion rights advocates, who fought tooth and nail against the plates.
After failing to prevent the pro-life plates from hitting the market, abortion advocates launched their own campaign, resulting in the Planned Parenthood plates. “After all, the majority of Nebraskans and Americans overall believe that a woman should maintain her right to reproductive choice as established under Roe v. Wade,” Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Meg Mikolajczyk said in a statement, according to Newsweek.
Planned Parenthood’s launch of the plates is in line with its new theme of Resistance, largely sparked by the pink hat-wearing ladies who marched on Washington in protest of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Thirty U.S. states, including the District of Columbia, give drivers the option to sport “Choose Life” plates on their vehicles. No states aside from Nebraska and Virginia, however, offer pro-abortion license plates.
