Pastors’ Corner Goes Interactive: Sign Up Now for Conversations About Practical Pastoral Ministry During Tough Times
Pastor, how can you best lead your congregation through the crazy challenges we all face today? Would you like to talk about it? Share your experience? Raise your questions?
The Stream’s Pastors Corner is going interactive, with live conversations coming soon for pastors, on how you can best lead your congregation through the tough challenges we all face today.
These are fully interactive sessions, so participation will be limited to the first 12 who sign up for each. You’ll hear from other pastors, and you’ll have opportunity to offer wisdom from your experience. We want to hear your questions, too, and your thoughts on how the Pastors’ Corner could serve you better.
Not a pastor? Then do your pastor a favor, please and pass this web link along!
Here’s the updated schedule. Sign up today for:
- One or more 30-minute conversations on homosexuality, with a focus on practical ministry issues. Sessions to be held on May 10 (9:00 pm Eastern), May 19 (4:00 pm), and May 23 (7:00). Choose a time for these dates (or more than one of them) on the sign-up form. These are separate sessions, not sequential, so please feel free to sign up for any or all of them.
- A special 60-minute session on counseling church members through crises of conscience (work, school, or family-related), especially where the issue has to do with sex and gender. What can you say to a church member who’s facing harassment, discipline, expulsion, firing, etc., due to their biblical convictions? Sign up for this session on that same form.
Your host is Tom Gilson, senior editor with The Stream, veteran of 40-plus years in ministry, speaker, coach, and author of multiple books and hundreds of articles on tough topics for Christians.
