Military Photo of the Day: An American Eagle Healed and Ready to Fly

By Tom Sileo Published on October 17, 2016

A U.S. Army soldier releases a bald eagle back into the wild on October 4, 2016, at Camp Ripley in Minnesota. The soldier found the injured bird, which received three months of rehabilitation at the University of Minnesota.

It doesn’t get more patriotic than this. Thank you to this compassionate soldier and the University of Minnesota for saving this bald eagle’s life!
