Marines Carry Captured Rice Aboard Helicopters, 19 June 1967
“Captured Rice: Leathernecks of the 2d Battalion, 5th Marines [2/5] load 20 tons of captured Viet Cong rice aboard helicopters during a search and destroy mission near An Hoa, 26 miles southwest of Da Nang. The rice, uncovered by H Company, was redistributed to refugees (official USMC photo by Lance Corporal Clark D. Thomas).”
