Joy Break: Two Agnostic Teens Pray to Receive Christ on Streets of Bristol, England

When we turn on our television or smart phones we are bombarded with news that brings us down. Where are all the good stories? Those stories are still there. Here’s one that we hope will bless you.

American evangelist and director of Torch of Christ Ministries, Phillip Blair, was preaching on the streets of England this past week when two young agnostics approached him. They introduced themselves as Joe and Mattias. When Blair asked the teens about their parents’ spirituality, Joe said he doesn’t “follow what they follow.”

As Blair began speaking with the boys, a handful of people surrounded them and argued with the street preacher. Blair calmly engaged in conversation with those around them, then asked if anyone wanted to pray to receive Jesus Christ. Joe and Mattias said that they did. 

Blair and the two teens held hands and prayed. And it was all captured on video:
