Randy Robison with The Stream asks the possible presidential candidate and former senator from Pennsylvania some probing questions.

The Stream interviews former Pennsylvania Senator and 2012 presidential candidate Rick Santorum on the hot-button issues of religious freedom and conflicts over same-sex marriage legislation. (Santorum is also mentioned by many as a possible Republican candidate in the 2016 presidential race.)

Randy Robison questions Senator Santorum on the increasing pressure placed on people with strong conservative convictions who speak out in the public square.  The discussion then turns to the First Amendment and the intent of Thomas Jefferson with his famous “wall of separation” phrase. It ends with an analysis of laws to protect conscience, such as the one recently passed in Indiana to protect conscientious business owners.
