Democrats are worried that they won’t be able to push Joe Biden’s gurney across the finish line in 2024, even if his opponent is sitting, gagged, in a jail cell. The evidence that Biden ran a political crime family from the White House just keeps piling up, even as his cognitive decline shames and scares a nation facing major threats on every front. That’s why many are speaking in less and less hushed tones about the need to find a replacement.

Few voters of any race or either sex favor Kamala Harris, who canoodled her way to the middle and failed her way to the top, who has blown every task she’s been assigned and speaks in garbled cliches that sound like inspirational posters badly translated from the Latvian. 

The Man in the Straw Hat Inside the Hacienda

Some tout Gavin Newsom, a slick oligarch with leftist politics that complement his vast personal wealth. As a white scion of privilege who oversaw the liquidation of his state’s middle class, allegedly in the name of homeless drug addicts, sexual eccentrics, and illegal immigrants, he really does sum up the “hacienda” politics of the modern Democratic Party.

For the Big Race We Need a Big Nurse

But I have a more powerful choice. A person who has really walked the talk and lived out the priorities and values of our elites — not flinching at paying the price of becoming a “change agent.” You might not have heard of her, but she richly deserves our attention. I’m speaking of a hard-working, frontline health care provider from America’s Keystone State, Pennsylvania, 44-year-old Heather Pressdee.

No, she’s not a professional politician. She hasn’t spent years cultivating donors or pandering to the media. Instead, at great personal risk, Pressdee reached out directly to Americans in crisis, ensuring that they might have death, and have it abundantly. (Jn: 10:10) As The Blaze reports:

A Pennsylvania nurse who admitted in May to killing patients with fatal doses of insulin has now been linked to 17 care facility deaths. Heather Pressdee, 41, of Natrona Heights was slapped Thursday with dozens of new charges pertaining to a series of slayings going back to at least 2020. Her alleged victims ranged in age from 43 to 104.

Investigators indicated Pressdee would administer fatal doses of insulin during overnight shifts when there were few staff on hand and “often took steps to ensure her victims would expire prior to shift change so that they wouldn’t be sent to the hospital where her scheme could be discovered through medical testing.” If it looked as though her victims might pull through, Pressdee would allegedly take additional measures to ensure they died.

A Measly 17? Okay, But Hear Me Out

Now I know what you might be saying to yourself:

Big deal, Zmirak. Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Andrew Cuomo, and other blue state governors didn’t kill a measly dozen-and-a-half nursing home patients during the COVID panic. By dumping virus patients among the most vulnerable citizens of their states — while leaving beds empty at naval hospitals and other facilities — those governors wiped out thousands, even tens of thousands of Korean War vets and grandmas. Why should Pressdee leapfrog ahead of all of them? Has she really paid her dues?

To that I answer: The left needs a leader with a powerful, hands-on record of personal accomplishments in advancing its agenda, to match Donald Trump’s business resume and foreign policy wins. It’s one thing for some Democrat to sign executive orders, at three and four removes, that promote what the party believes in. It’s quite another for someone to pick up a shovel and dig, grab a pickax and swing it, or pull out a syringe and actually administer that lethal injection.

The Party of National Euthanasia

The Democrats are the party of national euthanasia. They made that clear with their border policies, their attacks on historic statues and the narrative of our founding — now reduced to a crackpot conspiracy theory about slaveholders scheming to frustrate that great abolitionist … King George III. They shredded our Constitutional rights in the name of saving lives from COVID, while in fact massacring the one group of people — the very old — whom they should have been protecting.

From tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded weapons left behind for the Taliban, to their crazed brinksmanship against a nuclear-armed Russia, to the millions they gave the Iranians who fund Hamas’ slaughters, the left has made its agenda crystal clear. Its emblem shouldn’t be the Democratic Party’s donkey, or even the Marxist raised fist of Black Lives Matter. It’s a needle full of poison in the hands of a killer nurse.

I for one would welcome an election that was a clear referendum on values. And I think a Trump/Pressdee contest is what our America needs now. It will force people to fess up to their ultimate allegiances.
