“The American people are sick and tired of the deceit and the dishonesty,” former Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said Tuesday in an interview with Fox News. When asked about an alleged connection between Donald Trump, Russian intelligence, and WikiLeaks, Flynn said: “It’s absolute baloney and an absolute distraction to what Hillary Clinton knows she did. What she did was totally wrong,” he said, referring to the emails she sent and received on her private server. “She should step down. She should not be running for president of the United States.”

Former assistant director of the FBI James Kallstrom didn’t mince words either. “The Clintons, that’s a crime family, basically. It’s like organized crime,” he said in an interview Sunday with John Catsimatidis of Cats Round Table. “The Clinton Foundation is a cesspool,” adding that it is “outrageous” how Hillary Clinton “sold her office for money,” referring to the pay-to-play tactics employed by both Clintons.

Kallstrom is known for heading up the investigation into the explosion of TWA flight 800 in the 1990s. He laid into the FBI’s initial inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s email server, saying it was “never a real investigation.” Thanks to Loretta Lynch, Kallstrom said, a grand jury was never empaneled. “Loretta Lynch would not go along with that,” he said, adding, “So this investigation was without the ability to serve subpoenas, serve search warrants, and obtain the evidence that they ended up begging for. It was just ludicrous what went on.”

Kallstrom was quick to point out that the FBI agents are not to blame, and that in fact many are “furious with what’s going on.” He puts the blame squarely on leadership in general and Jim Comey in particular. The FBI “left so much stuff on the table,” he said. “Cases of conspiracy, destruction of evidence, obstruction of justice, perjury — I mean it’s a legend.” In World War II, he said, people were executed for disclosing top secret information, “never mind all the potential federal laws she violated,” he continued.

As for his vote? Hillary Clinton is “a pathological liar, and she’s always been a liar,” he said. “And God forbid if we put someone like that in the White House.”
