DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas Impeached for Facilitating Border Invasion
This is the first impeachment of a cabinet secretary since 1876. The Senate trial will begin at the end of the month, though there is only slight chance of a conviction
The architect of the border invasion, the man who removed the βsecurityβ from Homeland Security, has been impeached.
By a 214-213 vote Tuesday night, the House of Representatives impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Mayorkas becomes the first cabinet secretary to be impeached since 1876.
Three Republicans sided with the Democrats.
The two impeachment articles accuse him of a βwillful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” and βbreaching the public trust.β
Speaker Mike Johnson says Mayorkasβ facilitation of illegal immigration has done more βdamage on the country than any Cabinet secretary thatβs ever been.β
Joe Biden blasted the impeachment, declaring “history will not look kindly on House Republicans for their blatant act of unconstitutional partisanship that has targeted an honorable public servant in order to play petty political games.”
Honorable?
Honorable? Mayorkas spent two years insisting under oath the border was closed and secure β¦ as millions of illegal immigrants flooded our streets and cities … until polling showed the immigration invasion had sent support for Biden and the Democrats plummeting. 85,000 illegal immigrant children disappeared under his watch, 112,000 Americans dead from the fentanyl he let in across the border in 2023 alone. 20,000 Chinese nationals since the start of the fiscal year, and who knows how many Islamic terrorists roaming free, planning God knows what horrors for the American people. If the government had let in 20,000 Nazis in 1942, what would have happened to the man in charge of the border? Heck, even 200 Nazis?

Honorable? Mayorkas is the one who went out and accused honest, hard-working border agents of whipping Haitian migrants, when heβd been informed by the photographer that took the now-infamous shot of the migrants and the horse-riding agents that they did no such thing. Mayorkas not only refused to apologize to the agents, he wrecked their lives with a year-long bogus βinvestigationβ of their actions.
Honorable? Judicial Watch just discovered that it was Alejandro Mayorkas who personally ruled against providing presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Secret Service protection, despite the several attempts on Kennedy already and his family history.
Cop-beating illegal immigrants are flipping America the bird while Mayorkas has been whistling “Everything is Beautiful” and taking Texas to court for trying to stop the flow.
Onto the Senate
Mayorkas will now face trial in the Senate. Majority leader Chuck Schumer announced the trial will begin at the end of this month after the Senate returns from a two-week break. The chances of conviction are negligible, given the Democratic majority in the Senate and the need for a 2/3rds vote to remove Mayorkas from office.
