Dana Perino Talks Bush, Obama and the Iran Nuke Deal

By The Editors Published on May 1, 2015

Former White House press secretary and current FOX News co-host Dana Perino stopped by the LIFE Today studios this weekand Randy Robison got a chance to ask her about her old boss, President George W. Bush. They discussed his recent critique of President Obama’s Iran policy, which many in the media presented as Bush breaking his promise not to criticize his successor. Perino had a different view:

One of Perino’s press secretary predecessors was actually at the closed-door meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition Summit. “He never mentioned Obama,” Ari Fletcher told CNN. “He gave direct, blunt answers to the hottest topics of the day involving politics of the Middle East.”

Bush also talked about the 2016 campaign, admitting his name may prove a liability to brother Jeb and promising attendees they won’t “see much of me.”

NOTE: In case you missed it: The Five co-host also talked with The Stream about the situation in Baltimore.
