Observing … and Celebrating … All Saints’ Day
Today is All Saints’ Day, aka All Hallows’ Day, aka the Feast of All Saints’ day. Although a solemn holiday in the liturgical calendar, it is also a time for costumes, color and candlelight. Who can’t smile at the site of little tykes dressed up as major figures of the faith?
Here’s a sampling of how All Saints’ Day is being observed here and abroad.

Thank you to Fr. Paul Shelton, S.J. for celebrating today's All Saints Day Mass and helping us to let our light shine, just as the saints did. And a huge thank you to the Loyola Moms for their beautiful donation of the new Crucifix to be hung for all-school liturgies. #AMDG pic.twitter.com/ryusAguJ0t
