Sixty years ago today I was blessed to marry Betty, the sweetest, most precious, most beautiful girl in the world. To think that our Father in heaven would love me — a fatherless boy, born the product of rape — so deeply that He would give me such an indescribable gift. No words can describe the joy, love, care and wisdom she has poured out on me, our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and people all over the world for the 60 years we’ve been married.

To God be the glory, honor and praise for this indescribable blessing to me and so many — especially those who feel so often unnoticed and even unloved.

Betty and I express our thanks to all of you who have prayed for us, with us and help us put God’s arms around the people He gave His Son to redeem.
