Dudley Hall is a Senior Contributor to The Stream. He is a recognized teacher who has been blessed with extraordinary gifts for equipping the body of Christ. He holds a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelors degree from Samford University. Dudley’s formal ministry began in college leading youth evangelism crusades. Sensing a need for discipleship training beyond the initial “sinner’s prayer” experience, he developed a follow-up program to citywide evangelistic crusades that touched thousands. He has helped plant churches throughout the United States and Africa.
Dudley is passionate about the centrality of Jesus Christ and the proclamation and practice of the New Testament gospel. He mentors young men, business leaders, pastors and ministry leaders, connecting the generations in a single-minded pursuit of knowing the Father as only a son can. Dudley is gifted in empowering men to embrace their masculine spirituality and leadership roles. His teaching and discipleship materials are used around the world.
Dudley has authored several books including Grace Works, Incense & Thunder, Glad to be Left Behind, Men In Their Own Skin, Orphans No More, When Hard Times Come, Follow Me and his latest a children’s book laced with gospel truth: Shorty the Substitute Ram. He is a sought-after speaker, an engaging preacher, an effective consultant, and a trusted spiritual father.
As the founder and President of Kerygma Ventures, Dudley is most at home on the beautiful 350 acre Tesoro Escondido Ranch discipling and training leaders in all spheres of life. Dudley and his wife, Betsy, live in Grapevine, Texas. They have two grown children and six grandkids.
