As Flies to Wanton Boys Are We to the Left: They Kill Us for Their Sport

My title slightly adapts a famous line from Shakespeare’s King Lear. The loyal courtier Gloucester has been blinded and cast out to die by the vicious, power-hungry Goneril and Cornwall. Gloucester speaks not of the Left but of “the gods,” since this play is set in pagan times.

Our societal masters are indeed pagans, even — perhaps especially — those like Joe Biden and Raphael Warnock who make sure that cameras film them screaming “Jesus!” in church. These elites hide out in their own gated versions of Mount Olympus (Martha’s Vineyard, Park Slope Brooklyn, Beverly Hills), the richest and safest zip codes in the country, occasionally swooping down into pitiful mortal country flanked by armed security guards to lecture us about “gun violence.”

Zeus Never Did Time for His Rapes

Like pagan gods, they are not self-sufficient, but actually hunger for the worship and obedience of us peons. They need our business and our obedience, our votes and our taxes, our silence and our respect.

They need to be set apart by blue-checks on Twitter, by the freedom to riot “peacefully” and nullify elections, to tear up the social contract and spit on our Constitution — all without losing their status, much less their freedom. How many leftists who occupied the U.S. Capitol in the past, or GOP-held state capitols, ever languished in jail without bail? The exact number is zero. Divinity has its privileges. Zeus never did time for his rapes. Nor will Jeffrey Epstein’s list of clients will ever see the light of day.

When a felon invaded Jake Gardner’s bar, he was supposed to just shut up and let the felon strangle him. When he fought back, the elite weaponized the mob to drive that combat hero to lonely suicide. When a nutjob showed up at Nancy Pelosi’s home, it amounted to a national crisis, which proved (yet again) how dangerous and contemptible the “wrong half” of the country really is.

The War of the Top Against the Middle

Impatient to clear away the remains of the old America and build a Hacienda State like colonial Mexico, our overclass wages war against the middle class. To win, they employ the underclass (permanent welfare recipients, illegal immigrants, flashy sexual eccentrics) as their street muscle and pretext. They’re protecting the “weak” and the “marginalized.” That’s the only reason they need to destroy our livelihoods, wreck our energy infrastructure, groom and corrupt our kids, seize our guns and trash our schools. Of course, when Ron DeSantis sent a couple dozen illegals to Martha’s Vineyard, we saw just how much the gods really love the little people they’ve claimed to adopt as pets. The military swept in to remove them before sunset.

We’re blessed, actually, by just how arrogant and overconfident our loathsome leadership classes have become. They used crude election tricks in real time — We must stop counting the votes, wherever Trump is ahead! — to foist on America the stumbling, muttering shell of a once-mediocre hack. The Former Joe Biden is so contemptible and ridiculous, nobody believes that he’s really running the country. Who is? We have no idea. Some secret committee. You know, just the way our Founding Fathers intended.

They toss to us candidates like John Fetterman, a useless heir of a plutocratic family who has never held a full-time job. (He barely showed up for his part-time job as mayor of some hamlet with under 2,000 people.) His heart is severely damaged by the 400 pounds he used to carry around, which caused a stroke. Now the man apparently cannot speak or understand human language. But we’re still expected to elect him to the Senate! Fear not, some secret committee will actually tell him how to vote — perhaps using hand signals, a whistle, or maybe just a shock collar. Because that’s what the U.S. Senate was always meant to be: a theater for meat puppets controlled by invisible hands.

Suck It Up, Helot

Does the attack on modern energy, in the name of Climate panic, mean you can’t afford to fill up your car? Well buy an electric one. And if you can’t afford one, then start taking the bus. Who wants a nation full of independent people, driving wherever they feel like going, without their betters’ permission?

Are the food shortage, and the diesel shortage, and the baby formula shortage, and the labor shortage, wrecking your everyday life? Well you’d better suck it up, for the sake of “democracy.” That’s what New York Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, of haughty Westchester County, advises American peasants. His exact words were:

I grew up in a family where if the gas price went up, the food price went down, so by this time of the week we’d be eating Chef Boyardee if that budget wasn’t gonna change – So that’s what families have to do.

Does anybody in Westchester really think Rep. Maloney will be choking down canned pasta? Of course not. That’s slop for the proles, who should shut up and vote as they’re told.

Is inflation wiping our your savings? Making it hard to pay your rent or mortgage, or meet the deductible on your (Democrat-wrecked) health plan? Joy Reid doesn’t believe it. In fact, she claims that “inflation” isn’t really … a thing. It’s just some Republican propaganda mantra, which she assures us that poor, non-elites don’t even understand:

Most people who would have never used that word ever in their lives are using it now because they’ve been taught it. Including on TV, including in newspapers, they’ve been taught this word.

Stay Stoned Until You Die Off

Our cultural, political, and economic masters have gotten so drunk with hubris, they don’t even pretend to believe that the rest of us are human. We’re just … blind mouths, eating up the climate and spewing carbon everywhere, who need and deserve to be culled, as elite philosopher Yuval Hariri openly advocates:

I think the biggest question in maybe in economics and politics of the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people?

The problem is more boredom and how what to do with them and how will they find some sense of meaning in life, when they are basically meaningless, worthless?

My best guess, at present is a combination of drugs and computer games as a solution for [most]. It’s already happening …

As the poets who wrote Greek tragedies realized, mere human beings whose delusions tell them that they are gods have made themselves mad. They soon lapse into folly and ruin, and their destruction is certain.

Enjoy the election results tonight. I certainly will.
