Big Apple and New Jersey Hit by Rare Earthquake

Well, that will rattle your teacups. A 4.8 earthquake struck the New York City area at 10:19 this morning. The epicenter was Lebanon, NJ. Supposedly, it’s the worst earthquake to hit the region since the 1880s. The quake was felt from Philly to New England and rattled Jersey nerves like hearing Tony Soprano wants to “have a talk.” New York City having an earthquake? If you can shake it there, you can shake it anywhere.

Seriously. Gotham getting an earthquake? The New Jerusalem? Just three days before a total eclipse passes over a slew of towns named Nineveh? While trillions of cicadas are warming up to raise an unholy ruckus in a couple weeks? Biblical signs … or just playing them on TV?

Then again, we’re talking about a 4.8 earthquake. You know what they say about a 4.8 earthquake in California? Nothing. They roll over and go back to sleep.

Great-Grandmother Who Prayed at Capitol J6 and Walked Around Inside for a Couple Minutes Found Guilty

Finding justice with a DC jury is like finding a clean sidewalk in New York City. Sure, it may exist in theory, but I’d love to see it.

Yesterday, 72-year-old Rebecca Lavrenz — dubbed the “Praying Grandma” — was found guilty on four charges connected to her brief stroll inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6.  It would take almost as long to read the charges as the time she spent inside. Lavrenz had just spent an hour outside the Capitol praying, then peacefully entered with all the insurrectionist fervor of a tourist in town for the first time. Video footage shows her wandering around  for about 10 minutes, chatting with a police officer, and praying some more. “Disorderly and disruptive conduct”? We’ve seen more disruptive conduct during kindergarten nap time. In her words, “I walked in, I walked out, I was never told to leave.”

Just months before the events of January 6, we all saw three days of a full-throttled assault on the White House and Washington, D.C. by people who brought bricks and sticks. Lavrenz, on the other hand, brought two small American flags. No one from the BLM/ANTIFA riots was hauled into court three years after the fact … but senior citizen prayer warriors expressing their right to peacefully petition the government? Lock ’em up.

Lavrenz faces possibly a year in prison.  To think that you can literally film yourself having gay sex in the U.S. Capitol building, as 24-year-old legislative aide to Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin (D) did last December, and only lose your job — but love this country and walk into your Capitol in support of the wrong candidate, and you are locked up. (Capitol Hill Police initially launched a criminal probe against the staffer –but then announced on Feb. 1 that they would not bring charges against him.)

We tip our cup to Lavrenz, in the belief that her faith and the prayers of intercessors (perhaps including you) will pull her through.

Longitudinal Study Indicates Kids Usually Grow Out of Gender Confusion

Attention, those who consider carving off healthy body parts and sterilizing gender confused kids to be a good thing: A new, in-depth, longitudinal study out of the Netherlands further demonstrates what the pre-woke medical establishment long understood: Most children who suffer from gender confusion grow out of it by the time they become full-grown adults.

Understand that, Rachel Levine? You’re cutting off parts those kids will usually want back.

Specifically, the researchers tracked 2,700 people from age 11 to their mid-twenties. At age 11, 11% expressed some degree of “gender noncontentedness.” By the time the kids reached their mid-twenties, that figure dropped to 4%.

Why is this study good news? Because it puts another nail in the coffin of those claiming that mutilating minors is medicine, science … health care.

With this study, we learn that being confused about gender and sexuality while growing up isn’t abnormal. The abnormality is adults — whether motivated by perversion, profit, politics, or malpractice — who shove children away from their true nature.

Patrick Brown, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, told the Daily Mail the study shows we must be “skeptical toward aggressive steps to facilitate gender transition” in minors.

The fact that rates of satisfaction are lower even just a few years later suggests that for the vast majority of people, prudence and caution, rather than a rush towards permanent surgeries or hormone therapies, will be the best approach for teenagers struggling to make sense of the world and their place in it. 

As such, policies that prohibit gender transition for minors make a great deal of sense.

Biden Campaign Intensifies Latest False Claim About Trump

The Biden campaign has doubled down on its claim that Donald Trump called all illegal immigrants “animals.” Sure, the full clip makes clear Trump was talking only about the man who killed Laken Riley. I wonder what the campaign wants to call the guy pictured below? They let him into the country just two weeks ago, and he’s already been arrested for murdering (and nearly beheading) his wife, right in front of their children.

Don’t like the word “animal” to describe this guy? How about “demon-possessed”? Is that better?

Meanwhile, it turns out the Biden administration isn’t just letting demon-possessed illegals into the country. They’re also allowing diseases. There’s been an outbreak of tuberculosis at a Chicago migrant shelter. TB rates in the US have plummeted since 1900, though there’s been an uptick since 2020.  

If you wanna bring something back from the turn of the last century, Joe, bring back the Model T. Not TB.
